The city of Hong Kong is arguably the business center of the Far East.  With the cost of doing business there far less expensive than in the United States, Hong Kong's economy is booming. That means business people from the U.S. have no choice but to either telecommute or fly from New York City to Hong Kong.  The distance is 8,067 miles and takes an average of 16 hours and 38 minutes.  By the time you arrive you need comfort.

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel is there to provide what a weary, stressed and stiff guest needs after stepping off a flight of that duration. The boutique hotel is located centrally to the business district right in the heart of Hong Kong.  Many guests consider it a chic retreat whose contemporary design and peaceful ambiance are just what the doctor ordered after the marathon flight or a day of business meetings. Conveniently located adjacent to the Central MTR station and a short walk from the airport express terminal it is also only about five minutes on foot from Hong Kong's booming night life and entertainment district. A complimentary airport greeting service is offered for guests staying in certain room categories.

The Oriental Mandarin Landmark offers 113 guest rooms and an award-winning spa.  The rooms and suites are considered to be amongst the largest in the city with 101 guest rooms, 12 suites and a Presidential Suite offering some of the most advanced in-room technology.

The Landmark's Amber Restaurant is under the direct supervision of Chef Richard Ekkebus, know for his contemporary French dishes.  For lighter fare or just some down time the MO Bar offers cocktails and organic dining.

Guest comfort is the landmark of the Landmark Hotel.  The two-story state-of-the-art spa and wellness center has 15 treatment rooms and a VIP Suite for couples.  Treatments include authentic Turkish Hamman, Moroccan Rasul and Roman Laconium. There is an 18-meter indoor pool and yoga and pilates are offered in the fitness center.

But the Landmark is not just for business.  The hotel is welcoming to social events and family groups as well.  On request the Landmark will provide rollaways for children in family rooms.  The young ones will also receive coloring books, crayons, toys, books and use of baby equipment such as bottle warmers, high chairs and strollers.

While mom and dad are having a romantic dinner The Landmark has a "Little Foxes" menu designed especially for the younger set and will email it in advance upon request. The Concierge will assist in planning activities for both children and adults and will help to book trips around Hong Kong for the once in a lifetime trip.
