LISSOM, the ultra-lightweight and stylish mindful movement casual footwear brand, exclusively released their Flyte Collection in the U.S. this Fall and has chosen accomplished ballerina, model and influencer, Alison Stroming as their first official "Flyte Girl" brand ambassador.

The Brazilian born dancer is a part of a group of talented women changing the face of ballet and has made her way into the mainstream with national features and partnerships. A perfect combination of style and movement, Stroming truly believes in the concept behind the line and is excited to be able to represent a modern twist on sneakers and ballet flats – a shoe that is like nothing else on the market. "When I tried on the Flyte Collection, my first impression was how light and comfortable the shoes are! Being a ballerina and living in NYC, I spend a majority of my day on my feet, always on the go, or in my pointe shoes, dancing up to 8 hours a day. These shoes are a must have for any woman on the go!"

Dancers truly understand the powerful connection between their feet and core, and Alison especially appreciates how our shoes help her body move through her everyday routine."

About LISSOM:

Inspired by dancers, yoga lovers, and the urban warrior, the footwear is designed for people who care about movement, giving wearers increased awareness and allowing them to tune in with their whole body, starting from the ground up. The principles of mindful movement have been embedded into a simple, beautiful shoe. Going beyond comfort; small innovations and adjustments have been incorporated to create a shoe you'll never want to take off, one that's light, flexible and gently encourages conscious steps.

The brand's purpose is to inspire women to move mindfully, therefore strengthening the body and soul. The shoe allows you to connect with the ground better. Welcoming the floor and strengthening your core provides you with greater stability and balance. The shoe is designed to be unstructured, super light and very flexible, enabling you to move more freely and wholly in line with the foot's natural movement.

How you move is as important as where you're heading; feel the joy of movement.
