On Wednesday night a bevy of journalists and influencers flocked to New York City’s Bathhouse Studios located in the Lower East Side to celebrate the launch of FUJIFILM’s newest and most innovative camera yet – the INSTAX Square SQ10. Over the course of two days, guests and celebrities attended a series of events for FUJIFILM’S launch of the INSTAX Square SQ10.
Wednesday evening drew guests including: DJ D-Nice, former Miss Universe Puerto Rico, Bodine Koehler, Yaris Sanchez, Ryan Destiny (of Star on Fox), Coodie Simmons, Chantelle Fraser – star of BRAVO TV’s “Blood, Sweat & Heels”, June Ambrose, and Amilna Estevao starring in Tom Ford’s Campaign.
To kick things off, FUJIFILM executives delivered a speech to welcome key media. Present guests were given the chance to experience and test out FUJIFILM’s first-ever built-in filter, square lens instant-digital hybrid camera.
At 7pm doors opened for invited influencers where they were sent on a journey through a square wonderland consisting of exciting moments to discover and create legendary photos. Overall, the experience provided new opportunities to see reality through a different lens with the new SQ10 camera.
Highlights throughout the two floors of discovery and exploration were a Sideways Room, Frozen In Time photo opportunity, an Infinity Square Mirror Maze, Square Light Field, and a Secret Bar with thematic signature cocktails and delicious square hors d’oeuvres.
At 9pm, platinum-selling band AJR took to the stage and galvanized the crowd with a fun-filled performance including their hit single “Weak.”
Every turn provided an exciting and immersive experience that will be remembered as one of FUJIFILM’s most remarkable parties to date.
FUJIFILM executives thanked everyone for coming out and for their continued support of a brand always seeking to create innovative, top-of-the-line products for their customers. As guests made their exit, they were gifted FUJIFILM’s INSTAX Square SQ10.
The following day, 30 influential foodies were invited to an exclusive brunch in partnership with Tasting Table. While guests enjoyed a three course tasting menu by chef Branden McHale, Jackie Gebel (@noleftovers) hosted a hands-on food photography workshop with the INSTAX Square SQ10.
For its grand finale, the activation opened its doors to the public, giving consumers the opportunity to come and explore. By the time Fujifilm Square Wonderland came to a close, over 500 guests made the journey of SQ10 discovery.
