JADE SIXTY OPENS ON THE UPPER EAST SIDE

JADE Sixty, the newest and hottest restaurant from well-known restauranteurs Stratis Morfogen and Franco Moscato, has opened in January 2018 in Manhattan. The pair brings their unparalleled expertise to the inventive JADE Sixty concept. Executive Chef Skinny Mei, former chef at Jue Lan Club and Philippe, and Chef Albert Diaz, former chef at Zuma London and Miami, are overseeing the kitchen. The eye-catching and succulent menu will offer American steakhouse, such as aged prime meats, and Asian favorites.

"The marriage of Asian cuisine and Steakhouse specialties has not been done before in this way. This concept is one that Franco and I have been discussing for some time now. We know that the combination of the two will be a great success. The best part about JADE Sixty is that there is a mouthwatering dish for every palate and preference. What other place can you have a Porter House for two, Baked Clams, and Pork Soup Dumplings in one sitting? We are proud to introduce this concept to New York City," said Morfogen.

The restaurant features a three-course lunch special for $20.18. This includes a choice of appetizer (ex: Chicken Sticks, Crispy Seaweed, Pork Dumplings), entrée (ex: Sweet Crispy Beef, Chicken Flat Noodle), and dessert (Ice cream or Sorbet). Additional lunch specials include the Jumbo Wagyu Burger and Steak Sandwich. JADE Sixty showcases a robust selection of exciting dishes for lunch and dinner including Torched Wagyu with truffle; Salmon Belly with ikura and truffle; Uni with yuzu, koshu and shiso; Roasted "Smokehouse" Duck & Chicken with homemade pancakes made table-side; and Snow Crab with brown butter ponzu. Other highlights encompass extralarge soup dumplings, pan seared dumplings, seafood towers, tacos, along with an extensive steak, meat, fish, sushi, and sashimi menu.

To complement the food offerings, JADE Sixty has a comprehensive beverage program inclusive of wine, sake, beer on tap, and a selection of signature cocktails such as the Jade Cocktail, Moët, midori, blue curacao, lime juice ad angostura bitters; the Grey Goose Lychee Martini and the Plum Old Fashioned, Bulleit Bourbon, plum syrup, angostura bitters and plum bitters. In addition, JADE Sixty has collaborated with Tyku to offer gin on tap.

JADE Sixty's expansive two-floor space has 175 seats. The interior is contemporary chic with dramatic ambiance lighting and strong dark and red tones, perfect for a group soirée or a special date night.  The spacious bar area, with 15 seats, will provide guests with access to the full menu.  JADE Sixty will also be featuring a private dining room, The HG Gallery, that will fit up to twenty guests. Here patrons can organize an à la carte or pre-fixe menu for their group. The HG Gallery features for sale rotating art that has been curated by Philippe Hoerle – Guggenheim. The first exhibition relates back to the theme of music and includes original John Lennon works and Basquiat prints.

The restaurant is located at 116 E 60th Street, New York, NY 10022 and will open officially for lunch and dinner on January 4th, 2018. Hours of operation are Sunday – Wednesday, 11:30AM – 12:00AM; Thursday -Saturday, 11:30AM – 1:00AM. Delivery orders can be made on Caviar and Seamless.
