Great news for New Yorkers who have had enough frigid winds, slippery ice and winter chill. No need to sip a hot toddy indoors while sporting cashmere socks and slippers. Don your sunglasses, bathing suit and flip flops and zip down to Turks & Caicos. If you like sun drenched beaches, crystal clear blue water and lovely amenities, Seven Stars beckons you.

Seven Stars Resort:
Named for the seven stars of the storied Pleiades constellation, this luxury resort is located on the silken sands of Turks & Caicos' famed Grace Bay Beach. Lush gardens, swaying palms and plentiful bougainvillea throughout create a gorgeous tropical ambiance. Guests soak up the sun in cushy lounge chairs or cabanas by the large salt-water pool, or steps away, beachside by the ocean. With tennis courts, life size chess board, myriad play toys and the West Deck for sundowners while watching the golden Caribbean sunset, guests want for nothing. This is the place in case your paramour pops the question – it's a favorite destination for honeymoons and weddings. During my stay, a blissful couple exchanged vows and celebrated with a lovely reception, on the beach.

The Suite:
My spacious ocean front suite showcased stylish décor and island accents with its wood and bamboo furnishings and marble floors.  King-size bed with softest linens, large marble bathroom with deep tub for bubble baths, Nespresso machine and floor-to-ceiling windows for scenic viewing happily met my requisite creature comforts. I especially liked sipping coffee on my private terrace in the morning while taking in nature's beauty. Waking to the sound of the sea and falling asleep gazing at the starry sky elevates life to its glorious essentials.

Spa:
For ultimate relaxation, de-stressing and indulgent pampering head to The Spa with excellent treatments, therapists and Yon Ka products. Couples massage, in- suite and beachside services are available. Gorgeous green – eyed Emerson, my therapist extraordinaire, treated me with a fantastic facial and full body massage, not to mention his personable demeanor. Reason enough for me to return.

Dining:
Brand new executive chef Kyle Kingrey promises to make the signature Restaurant Seven a culinary experience with his island inspired cuisine. I dined on the tastiest scallops and freshest tuna paired with fine wines.  Al fresco lunches of island specialties including lobster and conch, poolside at The Sand Dollar or overlooking the ocean at The Deck, were exceptional.

Activities:
Complementary water activities like snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing and a romantic sunset sail aboard resort –owned vessel Lady Tamara, provide great inducements to interrupt lounging in your poolside cabana.

Beach-side Jacuzzi :
Late afternoons, everyone heads to the outdoor Jacuzzi with cocktails in tow. It's 'the place' to meet and greet other swells, score invites and get the skinny. It was here that I learned the ultimate cure for a hangover from a fashionable guest who happens to be an ER nurse.

The Bar:
Put the barmen of Seven Stars on your list of world's best bartenders. These guys are serious cocktail crafters with an extensive list of luscious libations.  Whether imbibing their singularly delectable rum punch, or my favorite – the Gin       Garden made by master mixer Nikolo –  you're bound to say, ' I've never had anything like this. '

Service:
The super friendly and helpful staff made sure everyone had a good time. Smiling attendants poolside and beachside were always at the ready to freshen guests with a spritz of water, a cool scented towel and a refill for the empty glass.

Ambiance:
Seven Stars is supremely romantic and appeals to all lovers of beautiful, beachy locales. Whether cocktailing on a sunset sail, sunning and swimming, lolling in your cabana, strolling the beach, hot tubbing at dusk, or enjoying a private candlelit dinner– if you were not in love before, you will be.
