Symrise Sunset Cruise & Dinner with Victoria Secret Pink Model Rachel Hilbert at the World Perfumery Congress in Miami.
Achim Daub, President, Scent & Care of Symrise, the world’s largest supplier of fragrance raw materials, was the featured speaker on Monday at the World Perfumery Congress at the Fontainebleau Miami. Daub spoke on Symrise’s recent acquisition of Pinova, and the importance of backwards integration – the concept of controlling their supply chain “from source to scent” as a way of maintaining sustainability, transparency and traceability in a world where consumers increasingly want to know what they are putting both in and on their bodies.
Symrise – which created Victoria Secret’s Eau So Sexy fragrance, hosted an event aboard the 130 foot Venetian Lady docked at the Fontainebleau on Tuesday night with Victoria Secret Pink model Rachel Hilbert.
In attendance were Victoria Secret’s Mark Knitowski, Nightlife Impressario Will Makris, Blogger Troy Alexander, BFF’s George Ledes and Christine Schott-Ledes, Symrise CEO Dr. Heinz-Juergen Bertram, Legendary Perfumer Maurice Roucel, Master Perfumers Emilie Coppermann, David Apel, Christelle Laprade and Carlos Vinals, Andreas Steiner, Ricardo Omori, Isabelle Vacheret, Fred Kritzer, Doreen Bucher and Rhona Stokols.
