The Diplomat Beach Resort along with its celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian of Point Royal kicked off Art Basel with the launch of its culinary partnership with The Miami Heat. Chef Zakarian took over the notable Flagship Lounge exclusive to the Heat’s VIP ticketholders at the AmericanAirlines Arena

Dedicated to bringing signature cuisine to their premium members, the Heat‘s Chef Partner Program transforms the Flagship Lounge’s different culinary concepts throughout the year.  On December 4, members had the chance to meet Chef Zakarian, and enjoy his exclusive Chef’s Table menu, including a Raw Bar with King Crab Legs, Medium Stone Crabs and Florida Pink Shrimps; a Carving Station with Peppercorn Crusted Prime Rib Eye and a Spice Rub Florida True Red Snapper Taco Station; savory sides, salads, desserts and more!

It was a dynamic experience that matched the excitement, inspiration and thrill of what happened out on the court. It was the perfect night to launch this exclusive culinary partnership with the Miami Heat, as Art Basel is Miami’s most exciting week of the year, and VIPs and celebrities flock to South Florida to enjoy all the fabulous parties, art exhibits and upscale eateries.
