New York Fashion Week Spring 2015

By Hillary Latos

New Yorkers always know when fall is in the air, and it wouldn’t be from the warm Indian summer that blessed this Fashion Week, but from the transition from the casual style of summer to the structured styles of fall. There was still a light heartedness approach to fashion on the catwalks with a slew of pretty pastels and nudes with subtle embellished details to structured pieces with cheeky peek a boo cutouts. Bold colors made a splash as well as oversized florals and monochromatic graphic styles.

In the Flesh

Less is more this spring with tonal blush and fleshy tones that are a fresh approach to a neutral palette. Dressy day styles grace the body with flowing silhouettes and evening looks feature tonal embellishments.
