Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff continues to spread her angel wings all over New York City. In the short span of two evenings, Shafiroff, wearing evening gowns by the late Oscar de la Renta, co-chaired one benefit and was honored by a separate charity. Along with Cathy Black, Shafiroff was the co-chair for the French Heritage Society Gala at the Pierre Hotel. She is also a board member. The French Heritage Society is dedicated to protecting the French architectural legacy both in France and the U.S. with particular emphasis on raising funds for preservation and education. Two nights later, Shafiroff was honored at the Animal Zone International’s Third Annual Argos Fall Benefit at Thalassa Restaurant. “American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez is reportedly buying a mini-mansion-like duplex penthouse in a swanky four-unit boutique building across the street from Madison Square Park.
