AN EVENING OF DISCUSSION AND CELEBRATION

NEW YORK, NY—July 14, 2015—100 Norfolk is pleased to announce the success of its private party featuring a discussion with James Ramsey, the creator and visionary behind the Lowline, on July 8, 2015 at the 100 Norfolk Sales Gallery.

An Exclusive Evening with Creator of The Lowline

Guests gathered on the Lower East Side for cocktails and hors d'oeurves to celebrate the groundbreaking Lowline underground park, slated to open in 2018. The Lowline will utilize innovative solar technology to create the largest underground park in the world, using a previously abandoned trolley terminal underneath Delancey Street as its site. Plans for The Lowline coincide with a moment of reinvigoration for the Lower East Side, offering the neighborhood a unique, cutting-edge landmark to be enjoyed by the entire community. "The 100 Norfolk team is pleased to raise awareness for the Lowline and bring the Lower East Side community together in celebration for the many exciting projects coming to the future," stated Douglas Elliman's Ariel Tirosh, broker for 100 Norfolk.

A Dazzling Jewel on the Lower East Side

100 Norfolk, now 90% sold, is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2016 and will consist of 38 high-end residential units with a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments. The luxury condominium's stand-out cantilevered structure and glass façade were designed by ODA Architecture. The 12-story building will feature an expansive roof-deck plus an outdoor garden lounge and tenants will also have full access to a fitness center, yoga room, bike room and auxiliary storage.

The Lower East Side Emerges as a High-End Destination

A number of exciting public development projects, The Lowline among them, are slated to be built in the area neighboring 100 Norfolk's luxury apartment building. The past few years have brought a dramatic transformation to the Lower East Side, including trendy restaurants, boutiques, galleries and nightlife spots. Essex Crossing, a mixed-use development project led by the city which will propel the revitalization of the neighborhood, will be located across the street from 100 Norfolk. Developers have focused in on Lower East Side, and the historic neighborhood is quickly becoming the most desired residential area in New York City.
