Countess Julianne Michelle, 28, (aka Julianne Michelle) looked stunningly beautiful as she and her father, Count Joseph Di Palma stepped out of a 1933 Rolls Royce, which was built for a grandchild of Queen Victoria, when they arrived at The Church of St. Ignatius Loyola on Park Avenue and 84th Street in Manhattan at 1 pm on Saturday November 21, 2015.
Julianne Michelle married Karl Christian Reeves. The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Daniel O’Hare in a magnificent setting.
A reception, cocktails, dinner and dancing followed at the Union League Club on Park Avenue and 37th Street at 5 pm. Guests at this Royal wedding included celebrity, philanthropists, family and close friends, who danced the night away.
Julianne has starred in 32 motion pictures and a few TV series. She is a two time winner “Best Actress” award at the NYCIFF and the Flash Foundation Young FF in Poland for her superb performances in the motion pictures Awakened with Edward Furlong and Steven Bauer and The House is Burning with Oscar Winner Melissa Leo respectively. She is also a 3 time nominee for Best Actress from Youth in Film and Young Artists Awards in Hollywood. She starred and appeared in many other movies including, Apartment 1303 in 3-D with Misha Barton and Rebecca DeMornay, Shannon’s Rainbow (aka Amazing Racer) with Scott Eastwood, Eric Roberts, OSCAR winner Louis Gossett Jr., Family Prayers with Anne Archer, Joe Mantegna and Patti LuPone and Wall Street; Money Never Sleeps with Michael Douglas. Julianne is signed on to star in The Coffee Cafe Trilogy in 2016.
Julianne Michelle attended Marymount High School on Fifth Avenue and Marymount Manhattan College, and she is presently studying for her Masters Degree at Columbia University. When Julianne was 13 years old she was named one of “Twenty Teens Who Will Change The World” by Teen People Magazine and on the WB TV Special. That same year she was selected as # 1 of “Five Top Teens in the World” by L’Oreal Paris. She is also a Free Style Figure 4 ice skater and an artist specializing in oil portraits. She plays guitar and has written the music and lyrics to a number of songs including four songs on the soundtrack of the inspirational motion picture Awakened, in which she stars. Julianne’s line of self designed jewelry “JULS” will appear in magazines and in stores in February 2016.
Julianne Michelle chairs a number of charity events, including “The Children at Heart Celebrity Auction and Dinner” (Chairman Steven Spielberg and Jon Voight) to benefit the Children of Chernobyl, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and “Winter Fete” to benefit Memorial Sloane Kettering.
Karl Christian Reeves is CEO of Consolidated Elevator Corp. in Manhattan. Mr. Reeves is also an investor in real estate and a philanthropist.
The bride’s father is Count Joseph Di Palma. He is a graduate of Columbia College, Fordham Law School and he received his LL.M from NYU. Count Di Palma is an attorney, TV producer and Real Estate Investor, who resides in Manhattan, NY, Beverly Hills, CA and NV. His family traces back to Norway then on to Normandy, France to Italy and the first Count of Aversa. Julianne has the title Countess Julianne Michelle. She is named after Queen Julianna of The Netherlands. Julianne is President of Supernova Media, a feature film and TV production company in Manhattan.
The bride’s mother is Countess Joycelyn Engle Di Palma, aka Joycelyn Engle, of 930 Fifth Avenue, Manhattan. She attended UCLA and HB Studio. She resides in Manhattan, Beverly Hills and Las Vegas. Countess Joycelyn Engle Di Palma is Vice President of Supernova Media. She is a writer, feature film producer, director and speech and image consultant.
Julianne and Karl met at a friend’s party in Manhattan in November one year ago. Julianne was in no rush to marry anyone. She always wanted to marry at age 35. Somehow he swept her off her feet.
Karl Reeves is quite a gentleman. Before asking Julianne to marry him, he asked her father for permission and blessings. Then in a most romantic setting at one of his homes in Miami Beach Florida he got down on his knees, asked Julianne to please marry him, and he gave her a beautiful diamond ring.
It was a romantic fairytale marriage. Mr. Reeves sounds like a Prince Charming.
