ABOUT BAGATELLE

Located in South Beach on the corner of 21st and Collins Avenue, Bagatelle Miami Beach redefines the French Mediterranean dining experience through an exquisite seasonal menu and a beautifully constructed space including outdoor seating. Designed by Celano Design Studio, Bagatelle Miami Beach embodies bustling Parisian bistro with classic décor, bold artwork and lively music.
Bagatelle brings Miami Beach a feeling that it has yet to experience, mirroring that which can only be found in the South of France, until now.

MEET THE FOUNDERS:  AYMERIC CLEMENTE & REMI LABA

The Bagatelle Brand came to life when business partners Aymeric Clemente and Remi Laba shared a desire to translate their previous experience in Hospitality in an environment that stood a lot closer to their idea of what a modern dining destination should be like, and was in line with their own aspirations. Today, they feel very fortunate to be able to expand Bagatelle globally in 9 locations and counting, and to find that their restaurant values resonate so loudly amongst the global dining scene. Aymeric and Remi are most proud of all the beautiful memories they have helped their customers build as well as being a witness to many wonderful life celebrations. To them, Bagatelle is a lifestyle, a way of life, where Joie de Vivre is a constant driver.

ABOUT EXECUTIVE CHEF, MATTHIEU GODARD

During his seven-year stint under Boulud, he was given the opportunity to work at the prestigious Michelin 3-star restaurant, Daniel. From there he moved to DB Bistro Moderne in New York before transferring to South Florida to helm the kitchen at the restaurant's Miami location. When Bagatelle opened its Miami Beach in 2015, Chef Matthieu Godard was the natural choice to head the kitchen of the contemporary French Mediterranean restaurant. Now a staple in the scene, Chef Matthieu has developed innovative seasonal menus and continues to create memorable culinary moments for locals and visitors alike.
When outside the kitchen, Chef Matthieu can be found staying active, exploring his Downtown Miami neighborhood and spending quality time with his wife.
