The décor of the hotel was refined and sophisticated, hosting a variety of lavish and expansive suites, which came complete with a complimentary bottle of champagne and tray of macaroons to revive us from our travels. With views overlooking the St. Mark’s Basin and San Giorgio Island, it was an absolute pleasure to watch the sun rise over the flowering terraces while sipping espresso in the early hours of the morning.
