HG CONTEMPORARY EXHIBITION TO BENEFIT MAA

Exhibition in support of Models Against Addiction (MAA) HG contemporary gallery and Philippe Hoerle- Guggenheim are pleased to present the art works of Philip Tsiaras from June 8- June 23rd, 2017. HG will donate of a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each work to Models Against Addiction. 'The show is especially notable because supporting meaningful causes is a core part of HG Contemporary's mission'. The Tsiaras exhibition includes a wide and historic selection of his artwork from paintings, glass, ceramic and bronze sculptures. Alongside his work will be etchings from Pablo Picasso, and unique works on paper from Robert Rauchenberg and Andy Warhol.

Also on display will be the full Warhol book from 1956, entitled "In The Bottom of My Garden". This presentation predominantly of works that have previously been showed in museums in Germany, Italy and Greece, as well as numerous books and catalogs rarely seen in the United States and will be available at the HG gallery. Tsiaras is an International Greek- American artist who since 1974 had more than 75 solo exhibitions featuring his work.

A recipient of national awards and prizes his works are widely collected in corporate and private museum collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The initial opening reception took place on the 8th. It was fabulous night with a great turn out of people shuffling through the door to get in.
