FAIRMONT WASHINGTON DC: WINTER WONDERLAND

Sleigh bells will be ringing at Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown beginning Friday, November 25^th.  Fairmont's Winter Wonderland Weekend Package will bring comfort and joy to all families who believe in the magic of the holiday season. The overnight package includes luxurious accommodations and a visit with Santa in his luxuriously designed suite. Children of all ages will receive a yummy treat and a holiday keepsake.

In preparation for Santa's check-in, Fairmont has partnered with official elves from EDGE Floral Event Designers.  They are busy transforming his suite into a stunningly whimsical winter wonderland. Exquisitely decorated trees will twinkle along with a host of enchanting details, from an elegant, mirrored dining table, set with places for Santa and his special guests, to a letter-writing station for leaving holiday wish lists.

All naughty and nice children are invited to stop by Santa's suite, with their parents, on Saturdays between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  He will give each child a yummy treat and a holiday keepsake gift to commemorate the visit. Those writing a letter to Santa, while in his suite, will receive one back from him.  Due to his busy schedule, he will depend on the postal service, rather than his sleigh.

Also included in the Winter Wonderland Weekend Package, is an afternoon spin on the hotel's new ice skating rink, located in the courtyard.  Ice skates will be available on a first come basis, guests are also welcome to bring their own.

Guests booking this package, who post or tweet a photo of their Santa visit, using the hashtag #fairmontdcwonder, will automatically be entered to win a number of prizes including a stay at Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown.
