POP/FUNK MUSIC’S RISING STAR IMANI SCOTT

Drawing on musical influences from past and present legends such as Beyoncé, Etta James and Chaka Khan, Houston-born singer Imaní Scott brings a unique voice and presence to her music. This talented singer-songwriter recently released her hot new single "Get Litty," ahead of the highly anticipated release of her debut LP titled "The Introduction," produced entirely by famous producer Isaac "Chill" Yowman, who produced Beyoncé's "Beyoncé" album. Imaní's funkadelic dialect, electrifying hairstyles, triumphant vocals and sensational stage presence is setting the stage to position her as the next emerging star.

The release of her second single "All Over Again" took the music industry by storm; an effortless sonic journey blending R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, Funk, Reggaeton, and Country, that appeals to the masses, young and old, and will make you want to get up and dance. The pop funk singer is bringing back funk with a refreshing new sound that incites excitement and energy every time you listen, as evident in her most recent single "Throwing Glitter", from her debut LP.

The songstress is determined to create music that stirs up positive emotions; "These days we want to be so numb to everything, but I want to put that emotion back in the music, that Earth, Wind & Fire, so we can live in the moment." Imaní recently kicked off her Diamond Rush tour, in which she performs with established acts such as Big Boi of the Dynaminc duo OutKast, the legendary heartthrobs Bel Biv Devoe (BBD), Wyclef Jean, Teedra Moses and Adrian Marcel, to name a few. The Diamond Rush tour is coming to San Diego, CA; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; New Orleans, LA; Austin, TX; and to New York, NY in Spring 2018.
