Super September Kicks off in NYC to Benefit OCRFA

Last night, Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA) celebrated the restyling of its iconic designer sample sale and fundraiser, formerly known as Super Saturday which was held in the Hamptons over the last 20 years, with a new name, date and look- OCRFA's new SUPER SEPTEMBER at Manhattan's Pier 17.  The event was timed with ovarian cancer awareness month, and Pier 17 was lit teal in honor of the event and ovarian cancer awareness month.

This exclusive event featured the cast of Dear Evan Hansen accompanied by the LaGuardia High School choir  and drew an illustrious crowd including Christie Brinkley and Kelly Bensimon. Guests were given all-night private access to shop OCRFA's famous luxury Garage Sale. Participating designer brands included Valentino, Badgley Mischka, Oscar de la Renta, alice + olivia, AMSALE NEW YORK, Edie Parker, Stella McCartney Kids and Outdoor Voices. In addition to shopping, guests had the opportunity to fly high in a lounge inspired by United Polaris business class, with a chance to win a pair of United Polaris® business class round trip tickets, and relax at InStyle's fashionable retreat, or try their hand at mini golf overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge.

Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA) is the largest global organization dedicated to fighting ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is the fifth cause of cancer-related death in women, with someone in the U.S. diagnosed with the disease every 24 minutes. Super September remains OCRFA's most significant fundraiser to support research and programs in the fight against ovarian cancer.
