Ruinart x New Museum Celebrates the Opening of the Canal Street Arts District

Fashion, art, and tech innovators joined Ruinart Champagne, the first established Champagne House, along with the New Museum to honor these creatives and NEW INC. Supporting the Arts on various levels has been integral to Ruinart since its founding in 1729.

Attendees for the intimate dinner included artist Zoe Buckman, landscape designer Lily Kwong, model Cipriana Quann, photographer Terry Gates, musician TK Quann, designer TimoWeiland, curator Nicola Vassell, artist Shantell Martin, NEW INC founder Karen Wong and artist Alexandra Bell, among many others. As they enjoyed Ruinart's beloved Blanc de Blancs and Rosé Champagnes, as well as the newly released Dom Ruinart 2007, they explored the current exhibits across the burgeoning Canal Street arts district, which are spread across 22 vacant storefronts that were transformed by Wallplay.

This was the third dinner in a series between Ruinart and the New Museum that will culminate in January with a final fête in which a NEW INC member will be surprised with a scholarship by Ruinart to help them pursue their passion project.
