The premier art gallery on everyone's calendar is of course the Art Basel Miami. PLAY – Art Basel

Every year, Art Basel in Miami Beach is the center of North America and Latin America, and presents artworks from across the globe. Over 250 of the world's leading galleries participate drawing over 70,000 visitors each year, offering an exciting and inspiring week for artists, collectors, curators, critics and art enthusiasts. Paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, films, and editioned works of the highest quality are on display in the main exhibition hall. This year Art Basel is partnering with curator Philipp Kaiser and The Kitchen, one of New York City's most historic non-profit spaces, to present a new version of 'Autorreconstrucción: To Insist, to Insist, to Insist…' by Abraham Cruzvillegas. The multidisciplinary installation has been adapted specifically for Miami Beach and will combine elements of sculpture, performance, dance and music.

EAT – Casa Tua

Soho Beach House is an art-deco building on swanky beachside Collins Avenue offers rooms to nonmembers. Luxe quarters, filled with antiques, have a retro 1950's or European style. They include free Wi-Fi and flat-screens, and some have terraces, soaking tubs and ocean views. Dining options include a rooftop taqueria and tequila bar, an elegant garden restaurant and an art-deco Cuban coffee bar with cigars. The Luxury hotspot is the perfect place for a late cocktail or glass of wine after long day of enjoying south Beach.

The Oceanside Hotel was purchased by South Beach Group in Jan 2015. The hotel was opened in May 2016. Miami Beach's Oceanside Hotel (formerly known as Monticello Hotel) has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
