When Paris Meets New York – Montreal was born

As a native Parisian living in New York, I can ensure you that my trip to Montreal was undeniably one of my biggest city crushes! Montreal is the biggest town in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is located on an Island of the Saint-Laurent's River which has been named after the Mount Royal, the iconic hill  with the three peaks overlooking the city. The «arrondissements» of the city used to be independent cities that are now characterized into different neighborhoods, such as: the French Old-Montreal, Notre-Dame's Basilica, and the bohemian Plateau-Mont-Royal.
