Jonathan Simkhai FW19 Presentation with Ruffino Wines

Jonathan Simkhai showed his Fall Winter 2019 collection amidst a lighted installation at Industria Studios. Music was provided by Sarah Jaffe and violinist Rebecca Howard. Hair and makeup were done by Odile Gilbert, TRESemmé Global NYFW Stylist and Grace Lee for Maybelline New York. Guests enjoyed prosecco provided by Ruffino Wines. Afterwards guests celebrated at Sky Bridge with a surprise performance by Zara Larsson.

The Daily Front Row’s “New Wave” Party with SVEDKA Vodka

The Daily Front Row honored the 50+ talents to know in fashion. Over 600 guests assembled for the biggest bash during NYFW this season and were treated to an unforgettable moment when Aquaria, the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2018, surprised the crowd with a performance of Eartha Kitt’s “I Want to Be Evil.”When guests weren’t dancing to tunes provided by DJ Isaac Likes, they were posing with an oversized MCM bear, mingling with Temi, the Personal Robot who circulated through the crowd, and sipping refreshing cocktails from SVEDKA Vodka.

LaQuan Smith NYFW Show with Tequila Mi CAMPO

LaQuan Smith presented his FW19 Collection at Spring Studios. There was a fully stocked Tequila Mi CAMPO bar set up backstage and following the show, Smith and the models toasted the show with Tequila Mi CAMPO shots.

Opening Ceremony Lunar New Year 2019 Celebration with SVEDKA Vodka

On Sunday evening, Opening Ceremony threw a party, PIG OUT, which brought also brought together Asian cultural icons — in this case, of NYC nightlife. The mega-fête stacked three downtown events on three floors of Hotel 50 Bowery: BUBBLE_T, a Queer Asian and Pacific Islander dance-party collective hosted by Stevie Huynh, Nicholas Andersen, Karlo Bueno Bello, Pedro Vidallon, and Pauly Tran; GUSH, a lesbian QTPOC intersectional and interdisciplinary party from Angela Dimayuga and Meriem Bennani; and Club Glam, a monthly party at the China Chalet restaurant hosted by DeSe Escobar.
A feast worthy of the party’s name ensued, with the help of cuisine curator Sue Chan of Care of Chan. Dance-floor vibes came courtesy of Yaeji, the Korean-American electronic musician. Pearl River Mart, OC’s long-time Chinatown neighbor, also set up shop, offering for sale a variety of Lunar New Years goodies, bamboo and silk fans, quilted Chinese jackets, well as OC x Muppets merch, on which zodiac it girl Miss Piggy sports a cheongsam. Nearby, Maybelline hosted a fortune teller, where guests had their futures read through their lipstick imprints.
