On Monday, April 1st 2019, Over 200 guests attended the intimate screening of at the famed New York Public Library. The A-List cast members and VIPs who came to support the screening included Alec Baldwin, wife Hilaria, Taylor Schilling, Gabrielle Union, Jacob Vargas, Michael K. Williams, Emilio Estevez (The film’s writer, Director and actor) Executive Producer Ray Bouderau, socialite Rachel Heller and more.
Emilio introduced the film and brought up the cast for a quick background before the film played. The film was a passion project of Emilio, and “the library” serves as a focal point of the movie. The film brings attention to the issue of homelessness through an interesting storyline that shows the importance but has heart and comedic moment`s throughout. The room gave it a standing ovation at the end of the screening. The president of the NY Public Library was also on hand to say a few words, and noted how important it was for him to support this movie and show it at the space.
Following the premiere, the cast and attendees went to Magic Hour at MOXY Times Square for an after party celebration.
Ray Bouderau, Exec producer and founder of Living The Dream Films also has a small role in THE PUBLIC, which will premiere in over 250 theatres April 5th around the country, was on hand with his family to celebrate the film. @LIVINGTHEDREAMFILMS
