Vitamin a Debuts Resort 2020 & 20th Anniversary Collection at Miami Swim Week

On Friday, July 12th, Vitamin A presented its Resort 2020 Collection at Miami Swim Week 2019. Inclusive also of the brand's momentous 20th Anniversary Collection, the runway show marked an exciting return for Vitamin A to the seaside fashion week!

Known for their effortless and elevated sustainable swimwear, Vitamin A debuted a range of stylish designs with a laidback modern vibe. The Resort 2020 Collection was inspired by the Mediterranean island of Formentera – a dreamy untouched landscape of fruit trees, warm sand beaches, and shallow turquoise waters that exists somewhere between rest and play. This very balance manifests itself in the new collection, with simple shapes and organic materials, in a range of muted and vibrant hues.

Trends included high waists, cheeky high leg cuts, side-tie bottoms, one shoulder tops, deep-v's, adjustable bandeau tops, body sculpting silhouettes, and breezy beachwear. From strapless bodysuits to classic bikinis, the color palette highlighted neutral black and white colors, alongside earth tones, pops of leopard, subtle metallic shades, snake prints, and bright blue and coral colors.

In particular, the brand's 20th Anniversary Collection spotlights the elements that have been at the core of Vitamin A since the creation of their first bikini. Pairing their signature style and aesthetic with throwback design details, the collection combines the best 20 years of the brand into 20 unique, limited edition designs. A neutral color palette blends with classic cuts, a flattering fit, and a touch of nostalgia. Comprised of EcoRib (a recycled ribbed nylon fabric) and accentuated with up-cycled gold rings that were originally sourced in the early 2000's, the capsule is a reflection of Vitamin A's inherent focus on sustainable materials.

The Resort 2020 Collection will begin dropping August 1st, with the 20th Anniversary Collection available to purchase in March of 2020.
