Dee Ocleppo Opens First Mykonos Pop-up Shop

MYKONOS – On Friday, August 5th, Dee Ocleppo-Hilfiger, philanthropist, activist, and Creative Director of Judith Leiber, takes her namesake brand, Dee Ocleppo across the translucent tides of the Aegean to a new destination of inspiration – Mykonos.

Opening its first Mykonos pop-up shop at The Alchemist, a sophisticated atmospheric destination displaying the most sought-after designs in the heart of Chora, Dee Ocleppo brings her timeless Mediterranean inspired collection of accessories and ready-to-wear pieces to a new market.

In a temple of art, marble, metal and fabric, a selection of Spring/Summer 2022 styles will be on display, including the newly released Barolo bucket bag, Bey leather lace-ups, Helen flats and Capri-style sandals, and best-selling Pandora pumps and Dizzy Logo mules in sunny shades of ivory and sandy shades of cream and nude, as well as sky blue and metallic silver for a summer Cyclades soiree. A selection of cashmere crewneck tees with the signature embroidered initial and silk palm-print pajamas will be offered alongside special limited edition designs from collaborations with celebrated American beachwear brand, Melissa Odabash.

"Mykonos is a most magnificent island. It's near impossible to not get swept away in the white-washed buildings and the way the sky meets the sea. It's magical and almost mythical. There is a vibrancy that resides across the culture and I couldn't imagine a more remarkable background in which to present my collections which are built around color, comfort and classics for every day." – Dee Ocleppo-Hilfiger

The pop-up will be celebrated with a special opening cocktail event at 9:00pm on Friday 5th August and remain open through the summer season.

Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger discovered fashion at a very young age. Following a decades long career in modeling for High Fashion Houses in Europe where made privy to some of the greatest talents and ateliers, Dee returned stateside to share her transcontinental style sensibilities through the inception of a luxe handbag collection in 2012. The success of her first venture into accessory design led to recognition by the Fashion Group International with the "Rising Star Award," followed by expanding her collection with the Bag Bar patent – to be later acquired by Kate Spade & Co.

Since establishing her namesake line, the designer's handcrafted Italian leather goods have become coveted across trendsetters of timeless elegance, including Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Olivia Palermo and Pippa Middleton.
