Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and Spirits Trailblazer Sammy Hagar Hosts Happy Hours in Mission Beach and Gaslamp Quarter with Specials on His New Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. Sparkling Rum Cocktails

San Diego – August 19, 2022 – Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and spirits trailblazer Sammy Hagar spent the day with fans in "America's Finest City" on Thursday, Aug. 18 to celebrate the beach culture that inspired Sammy's Beach Bar Cocktail Co., his award-winning top-shelf sparkling rum cocktails in a can.

Hagar, whose Beach Bar Cocktails champion his mission to keep the beaches and ocean clean, hosted a happy hour at Beach House in Mission Beach, where he presented Surfrider San Diego with a donation and unveiled a custom sand sculpture by renowned sand sculpture artist, Greg LeBon. The sculpture will be on display at Beach House, located at 3125 Ocean Front Walk at Belmont Park, through Saturday night. Popular DJ Clint August from 101.5 KGB Classic Rock was onsite for a live remote, as well as to introduce Hagar to fans.

Hagar got up close and personal with the Redheads, the nickname for his loyal fans, when he jumped behind the bar to showcase his mixology skills and hand out samples of his canned cocktails. Sammy's Beach Bar Cocktail Co. is currently hosting a donation drive for Surfrider San Diego and is matching the first $2,500 in donations that are made here.

Hagar's Puerto Rico-made Beach Bar Rum steeps island flavor into his new Beach Bar Cocktails, which come in four award-winning flavors: Tangerine Dream, Pineapple Splash, Island Pop and Cherry Kola Chill. The top-shelf sparkling rum cocktails are 5.5% ABV, sweetened with agave and made with all-natural ingredients. Each 12 oz can is 130 calories and contains just 5 grams of sugar.
