What's past is prologue and for four decades Dennis has been perfecting his vision while staying true to the essence of the Dennis Basso look. Self-confidence, glamour, luxury. A very American brand of fresh elegance with a dash of European savoir faire. The journey is the inspiration of the 40th anniversary collection.
Taking cues from his earlier creations and picking up threads from his archives and following them through to new details. Dennis Basso has created a collection that is inspired by New York City nights and engages with the way modern women live today. His goal has always been to have women of all ages look as beautiful as possible. Whether designing for the runway or for millions of women across America for thirty years on QVC.
We celebrate the return to going out and dressing up with a nod to the past and a look to the future. The collection is composed of luxury daywear, statement gowns, slim body-shapes along with full ball gown skirts, pantsuits, and trenches. He has elaborated the sleeve details throughout the collection. Fabrics include, duchess satin, sculpted velvet, silk gazar and hand-embroidery beading. I've returned to my roots with luxurious furs…Russian sable, chinchilla, mink and broadtail.
The debut of this collection mirrors that of the very first show nourished by the past, energized by the present, and looking to the future. The best is yet to come.
