Getting There:

Getting to the Galapagos Islands is relatively easy, with daily flights departing from Quito and Guayaquil, Ecuador's two major cities. From Quito, it's a two-hour flight to the Galapagos' main airport on Baltra Island, while from Guayaquil it's a shorter 90-minute flight. Several airlines offer flights to the Galapagos, including Latam, Avianca, and Tame. It's important to note that visitors to the Galapagos must purchase a Galapagos Transit Control Card and obtain a permit from the Galapagos National Park to enter the islands. These documents can be obtained at the airport upon arrival, but it's recommended to arrange them in advance to avoid any delays.
