WHAT: alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet hosted its fifth annual pride event this year with a “Camp Pride” theme. The night benefited the Ali Forney Center which is the largest LGBTQ community center helping LGBTQ homeless youth. In keeping with the theme, guests socialized in a bunk bed cabin room, a camp canteen filled with camp-themed snacks, t-shirts, hoodies, and other fun surprises. There was a bright pink log cabin that served as a photo booth, an oversized canoe filled with flowers, bars that looked like camp lifeguard stations, and camp-themed activations such as friendship bracelet making, tetherball, and cornhole. Guests enjoyed vegan sliders and fries from Neat Burger, drank Astral Tequila cocktails, and grabbed Juneshine and FLow water drinks out of Stace Face co-branded minnidip pool tubs. The live performance by Kenzie and DJ Ty Sunderland was on a giant rainbow stage while the dancers kept the crowd partying the rest of the night.
“I am so excited about our fifth annual Pride event supporting the Ali Forney Center and all its amazing work with LGBTQ+ youth. As a designer, a CEO, and a mother, I believe it’s not just our responsibility, but our privilege to actively participate in Pride and celebrate inclusivity, diversity, and love in all its forms. “- Stacey Bendet Creative Director and CEO of alice + olivia
For their support, shoppers will also receive a rainbow ribbon bracelet, as a token of appreciation and allyship. Additionally, there will be Pride themed activations across select doors that are in the spirit of the “Camp Pride” event: camp bag customizing, rainbow hair braiding, and rainbow cotton candy carts.

ABOUT ALI FORNEY CENTER
The Ali Forney Center mission is to protect LGBTQ+ youth from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently. In 2002, Carl Siciliano founded the Ali Forney Center (AFC) in memory of, and after, a gender-nonconforming youth who was tragically murdered in 1997. The organization has grown to become the largest agency dedicated to LGBTQ+ homeless youths in the country— assisting nearly 2,000 youth per year through a 24-hour Drop-In Center which provides over 70,000 meals annually, medical and mental health services through an on-site clinic, and a scattered site housing program.
