A Night of Stars: American Ballet Theatre’s Fall Gala Illuminates New York City
As autumn leaves gracefully descended upon the city, the glamour of ballet took flight inside the renowned David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. The American Ballet Theatre (ABT) hosted its much-anticipated Fall Gala, marking it as a one-night-only performance where brilliance took center stage, both in ballet and high fashion.

The evening was nothing short of theatrical magnificence. The stage was set ablaze with ABT's stellar principal dancers, mesmerizing the audience with classics from dance maestros like Harald Lander, Kenneth MacMillan, and Antony Tudor. But the pièce de résistance was undeniably the World Premiere pas de deux choreographed by ABT's own luminary, Principal Dancer James Whiteside. It was a testament to ballet's enduring charm and the innovation that keeps it contemporary.


Offstage, the fashion was just as mesmerizing. An assemblage of glittering guests in sumptuous gowns and sharp tuxedos took to the Promenade for a black-tie dinner that oozed elegance. The star studded guest list included powerhouses from the arts, fashion and entertainment world such as Katie Couric, Annette Bening, Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamrick, Amy Astley, fashion dynamo Brandon Maxwell, Molly Ringwald, Morena Baccarin, designer extraordinaire, Zac Posen, Harrison Ball, Anh Duong, Brynn Whitfield, Candace Bushnell, Carly Cushnie, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Ivy Getty, Jessel Tank, Jonathan Cohen, Jordan Roth, Pritika Swarup, Sutton Stracke, Tommy Dorfman, and RHONY Ubah Hassan. They all came together to celebrate not just the art of dance, but also the unwavering support that fosters it.
