June 5th, 2025 – At the heart of Downtown Miami’s waterfront, the InterContinental Miami is turning up the heat this June with a lineup of elevated summer programming that blends art, fitness, culinary moments, and community celebration. Whether you’re checking in for a luxe staycation, dropping in for one of the city’s most anticipated Pride Month activations, or enjoying their Rosé All Day Cabana Experience, this iconic hotel is making the season feel like a curated series of experiences.
In honor of Pride Month, InterContinental Miami is offering its Stay with Pride package, which includes daily breakfast for two, access to wellness amenities like the 24-hour fitness center, steam room, sauna, and relaxation room at mySpa, and proximity to a full calendar of Pride-focused events. Throughout June, the hotel’s striking Spindle sculpture will be illuminated in Rainbow Flag colors as a meeting point for celebration and connection. A portion of proceeds from select events supports TransSocial, a Florida-based nonprofit advocating for the transgender community.
Every Monday in June, the lobby transforms into a gallery during Noche de Arte, featuring a special Pride Month residency by Miami-based artist Jacqueline Bermudez. From 6PM to 8PM, guests can meet the artist, explore her latest works—available for purchase—and take part in a celebration of local creativity that doubles as a cultural moment.
The hotel’s signature Pan-Latin steakhouse, Toro Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval, brings a spirited twist to Pride Month with the Love is Love cocktail—an elevated mix of peach vodka, elderflower liqueur, lychee and lemon purée, egg white, peach bitters, and rainbow gummy garnish. Priced at $15, each cocktail purchase benefits TransSocial. It’s a perfect way to sip with purpose, especially when paired with Toro Toro’s bold flavors and award-winning flair.
On Friday, June 6 from 9PM to 2AM, Salsa Night takes over the hotel in collaboration with Salsa Lovers. Guests will enjoy electrifying performances by professional dancers, a live set by Lisett Morales "La Mulata Del Sabor" y Orquesta, and tunes by DJ Mini. Admission is $15 for the public and free for hotel guests—with complimentary entry for all women before 10PM. This Havana-inspired celebration is a true Miami-style dance party, complete with discounted valet and signature cocktails.
Named Best Pet-Friendly Hotel in the USA by Newsweek, InterContinental Miami opens its Bayside Terrace each Wednesday evening for Paws Patio™. From 5PM to 7PM, dogs and their humans can mingle al fresco while enjoying themed cocktails like the Dirty Dog Martini and Mutt Mule. The event is free, weather-permitting, and open to the public—with plenty of water bowls and tail wags included.
InterContinental Miami continues to elevate wellness experiences with two standout events in June.
On Tuesday, June 10 at 7PM, Full Moon Yoga & Sound Healing unfolds on the SkyLawn, led by Nicolay Del Salto. Expect a multi-sensory experience blending movement, live music, meditation, and a sound bath beneath the city lights.
Then on Saturday, June 28, Summer Sweat with Stay Fit 305 kicks off at 11AM. The event features seven signature workouts—from yoga and Pilates to a 5K run—followed by a cold plunge and poolside cooldown with BODYARMOR Flash IV. It’s fitness, redefined with Miami flair.
On Sunday, June 15, Toro Toro is serving up an indulgent Father’s Day menu that’s worthy of a celebration. Highlights include a 10oz Prime Hanger Steak ($40), 24oz Dry-Aged Strip Steak ($260), and a 28oz Wagyu Tomahawk for Two ($261), all paired with Argentinian chimichurri and bone marrow butter. Additional offerings include a Smokey Tequila Old Fashioned with Cincoro Tequila ($12) and elevated sides like grilled avocado and potatoes three ways. A live guitarist will play into the evening, adding ambiance to a dinner as memorable as the man it’s honoring.
