An Architectural Gem on Abu Dhabi’s Horizon

Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced a landmark project in partnership with Eagle Hills that will redefine luxury living in the UAE. Set to open in 2030, the new Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi will rise on a secluded, horseshoe-shaped island, extending the city’s famed corniche into a serene enclave accessible by private bridge or sea.

Designed to celebrate both the Italian house’s heritage of craftsmanship and the region’s rich cultural identity, the project signals a new chapter in ultra-luxury accommodations, where fine design, meaningful storytelling, and curated privacy converge. At the helm is Eagle Hills, the Abu Dhabi-based real estate development company led by visionary founder Mohamed Alabbar—whose global imprint spans over 18 countries and includes some of the Middle East’s most iconic destinations.

A Bespoke Destination Anchored in Elegance

The resort will feature 60 guest rooms and suites—including a Bvlgari Penthouse and two Bvlgari Suites—housed within the main building, as well as 30 beachside villas, each equipped with a private pool. At the pinnacle of exclusivity sits the 1,200-square-meter Bvlgari Villa, complete with a private beachfront, 20-meter pool, and surrounding parkland—setting a new global benchmark for high-touch hospitality.

Designed by Milan’s ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the structures draw inspiration from “glass and gold emerging from the sand,” evoking a dialogue between form and landscape that honors both Italian aesthetics and Arabian lineage. Landscape firm LAND SRL will bring this vision to life through a fluid interplay of geometric and organic elements, blending cultural influence with natural serenity.

Beyond architecture, the experience is elevated through an extensive menu of curated amenities. These include Bvlgari’s signature Il Caffè, the decadent Bvlgari Dolci boutique, the contemporary concept store La Galleria, and the acclaimed Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, helmed by the three Michelin-starred chef. Guests will also find the intimate Japanese dining venue Hōseki, a modern Turkish restaurant, and La Spiaggia beachside eatery—all anchored by the spirited Bvlgari Bar.

Wellness, Yachting, and the New Language of Leisure

The 2,000-square-meter Bvlgari Spa will serve as the resort’s sanctuary, offering a 25-meter indoor pool, expansive fitness center, and a sea-facing outdoor deck. For those arriving by water, the Yacht Club will feature its own private beach and a 40-berth marina, along with an exclusive membership program catering to a discerning clientele.

Adding further dimension to the destination is a grand Ballroom designed for events and banqueting, positioned on the city-facing side of the island—making the resort equally suited to landmark celebrations and private retreats.

Private Mansions That Redefine Residential Living

Complementing the resort is a collection of 90 private mansions, ranging from 1,650 to 2,500 square meters. Each home will reflect Bvlgari’s signature approach to refinement, with eight exclusive estates offering their own private beaches. Select residences will feature private docks for yachts up to 25 meters, while others offer views over the island’s serene inner cove. Thoughtful landscaping and a tailored design ethos aim to foster a genuine sense of place—luxury with deep roots in context and culture.

“Life on the island is enriched by a diverse landscape, carefully designed environments, and sweeping views of both the sea and the city,” said Patricia Viel, CEO of ACPV ARCHITECTS. “The Bvlgari Resort & Mansions offers a thoughtfully curated setting that fosters a strong sense of place.”

A Partnership of Global Visionaries

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, noted that the project is a natural continuation of the brand’s hospitality journey: “This project is a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s unique cultural identity, blending timeless sophistication with modern luxury. This project will set a new milestone in Haute Hospitality.”

Mohamed Alabbar, Founder and Chairman of Eagle Hills, echoed that sentiment: “Abu Dhabi has always stood for vision and grace. This partnership with Bvlgari reaffirms our commitment to placing the Emirate at the epicenter of luxury living—where exceptional design, exclusivity, and Arabian soul converge.”

As 2030 approaches, the Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi stands to become one of the world’s most anticipated hospitality and residential debuts—where every detail, from golden sand to sculpted marble, reflects a legacy of refinement and a future shaped by design.
