Accor has officially placed its signature on the Las Vegas skyline. In partnership with hotelier and businessman Phil Ruffin, the global hospitality group announced today the signing of Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Handwritten Collection—a milestone that marks Accor’s first property on the Strip and its largest hotel in the world. The landmark 2,884-room resort will operate under a franchise agreement and officially debut later this year, introducing the Handwritten Collection’s distinct blend of character, story-driven design, and global reach to the entertainment capital of the world.
A New Chapter for a Classic Resort
Treasure Island has long been synonymous with Las Vegas spectacle. Now, its next era is being scripted with the support of Accor’s Handwritten Collection, a growing portfolio of uniquely curated hotels that emphasize personalized hospitality and local narrative. The Las Vegas property becomes the second U.S. Handwritten Collection hotel, following Hotel Stratford in San Francisco, and joins more than 25 open addresses and 35 in the pipeline worldwide.
“The city’s tagline is ‘What happens here, only happens here,’ and certainly there is no other place in the world where a collaboration of this scale and significance could come together. The union of Treasure Island and Handwritten Collection creates a one-of-a-kind guest journey, where connections are treasured, wonder is discovered, and every stay is a narrative waiting to unfold.”
Camil Yazbeck, Global Chief Development Officer at Accor
The partnership brings Accor’s full suite of services—including sales, marketing, and access to its ALL Accor Live Limitless loyalty program with over 100 million members—to one of Las Vegas’s most recognized resorts.
Reimagining the Treasure
Inspired by the whimsical spirit of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, the property maintains its fantastical edge while elevating the overall guest experience. A multi-million-dollar renovation has refined the interiors, blending classic Vegas charm with modern design.
The result: a more intuitive and inviting atmosphere, anchored by a breezy lobby overlooking a tropical pool deck. Self-check-in technology coexists with round-the-clock guest relations, while rooms and suites offer expansive views of the Las Vegas Strip, Sphere Las Vegas, and the Spring Mountains. Guests can expect SensaTIonal™ pillowtop beds, marble bathrooms with soaking tubs or whirlpools, and upscale amenities throughout.
Importantly, the hotel has also earned Four Green Globes® certification from the Green Building Initiative, aligning with Accor’s sustainability standards in areas such as energy efficiency, air quality, and water conservation.
What Stays and What’s New
Several of Treasure Island’s beloved features remain central to the experience. Free valet and self-parking continue to be part of the resort’s signature hospitality, and standout dining destinations like Phil’s Steak House, Golden Circle Sports Bar, and Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que return as guests’ favorites.
In total, the resort houses 10 dining venues and 8 upscale bars and lounges, alongside luxurious spa services at the Oleksandra Spa & Salon. On-site entertainment remains a draw, with Mystère by Cirque du Soleil—an enduring favorite and eight-time “Best Production Show” winner—still dazzling audiences nightly.
The hotel also features state-of-the-art event spaces, elegant wedding chapels, and a 90,000-square-foot casino, all within walking distance of Fashion Show Las Vegas, the city’s largest retail destination.
Local Legacy, Global Future
“Treasure Island has long held a special place in the story of Las Vegas, and I am certain that Accor and Handwritten Collection will further enrich its legacy and attract new generations of guests and visitors. This next chapter brings new energy to the resort while preserving its unmistakable spirit.”
Phil Ruffin, Owner of Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
Accor’s presence in the Americas now exceeds 550 open and operating hotels, and the addition of Treasure Island signals a deeper investment in the U.S. luxury travel sector.
