Miami Worldcenter marked its official grand opening with an electrifying celebration that drew thousands to the heart of Downtown Miami.
The evening was headlined by international DJ Alesso and reggae icon Shaggy, whose performances transformed the cityscape into a high-energy celebration.
Country music legend and Grammy Award-winner Lee Greenwood delivered a stirring rendition of “God Bless the U.S.A.” as part of the evening’s festivities.
Special remarks were delivered by Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Former Mayor Manny Diaz, and development leaders Art Falcone, Nitin Motwani, and CIM Group’s Ryan Harter.
Their speeches reflected on two decades of progress and the transformative impact Miami Worldcenter has had on shaping Downtown Miami’s urban revival.
Encompassing 27 acres across 10 city blocks, Miami Worldcenter is the second-largest urban mixed-use development in the country.
The $6 billion project redefines luxury living and hospitality with an expansive blend of high-end retail, chef-driven dining, entertainment, public spaces, and residential towers.
The event celebrated not just the opening of a destination—but the arrival of a new cultural and economic epicenter for Miami’s future.
