An Immersive Welcome to the World of Altius

Stepping into the exclusive A.I.R. Chateau on Miami Beach felt like crossing the threshold into a realm of refined luxury and artistic rebellion. The air hummed with palpable energy as GREY GOOSE® and art collective MSCHF transformed a private South Beach villa into a haven for creativity, luxury, and the debut of Grey Goose Altius — a new ultra-premium vodka destined to redefine indulgence.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with elegantly prepared welcome cocktails showcasing the clean, smooth taste of Altius. Each sip delivered a crisp finish that lingered just long enough to hint at its distinction from the brand’s classic counterpart. The villa's ambiance was bathed in cool, Altius-blue hues that mirrored the brand’s iconic new bottle, creating a chic, icy aesthetic that was both stylish and transportive.

Art took center stage with MSCHF's provocative installations scattered throughout the villa. From models walking around in MSCHF's Flip Flopped High Heels to a playful nod to their viral Big Red Boots — this time, rendered in a frosty Altius-blue — every corner demanded a double take. Stacks of their infamous Blur pieces loomed in the background like modern relics, and the buzz over the debut of MSCHF’s Moving Blanket Capsule Collection in collaboration with KidSuper had guests leaning in for a closer look — and even trying them on.

Cocktails, Caviar, and Couture Details

Grey Goose’s knack for curating a sensory experience was on full display. Inside, a sleek martini bar became a magnet for style-savvy guests craving the chill of an ice-cold pour. Plush couches draped in Grey Goose-branded pillows invited guests to lounge in comfort as bartenders masterfully crafted signature martinis — a nod to the timeless cocktail elevated by the smoothness of Altius. Outside, a second bar served an array of innovative cocktails, with the Apple Martini being a standout. Each sip was a refreshing pause amid the electric buzz of the night.

Beyond the bar, luxury took tactile form. Designer handbags and bespoke art installations adorned the space, inviting exploration. This wasn’t just a party — it was an experience designed to be touched, tasted, and remembered. And for those looking for an indulgent pairing, martinis met their match with Petrossian caviar, a classic accompaniment to the elevated flavors of Altius. Chanel Iman and her husband, Patriots’ tackle Davon Godchaux, were spotted cozied up over this perfect pairing, a quiet moment of intimacy amid the night’s grand spectacle.

No one left hungry either — endless streams of hors d'oeuvres floated through the crowd, featuring filet mignon, duck, shrimp, and more. Each bite was a culinary experience in itself, a testament to the thoughtfulness poured into every element of the evening.

A Star-Studded Affair Where Art and Music Collide

As the night progressed, the party’s pulse shifted. Music, already a steady heartbeat in the background, surged as Diplo made his entrance, taking over the LED-lit DJ booth with his signature mix of high-energy beats. His presence was magnetic, and just when the crowd thought it couldn't get better,  Big Sean joined him behind the booth. The duo’s energy electrified the crowd, with guests swarming the poolside stage to witness the spontaneous collaboration.

Throughout the evening, a constellation of stars mingled, danced, and toasted to the night. Kehlani and Victoria Monet had a quintessential "girls’ night out" moment, catching up with singer Destin Conrad as they shared stories of Art Basel’s buzziest moments. Across the villa, stylist Kollin Carter and celebrity designer Sami Miro engaged in conversations about art, fashion, and the creative energy that only Basel can bring. Miami Heat’s Hayward Highsmith made an appearance, casually blending into the glamorous scene while taking in the show.

With each passing hour, the villa's open-air setting — complete with a dazzling pool, palm trees swaying overhead, and the gentle glow of Miami’s skyline — became a playground for art, music, and fashion’s elite. The DJ booth’s LED graphics mirrored the colors of Grey Goose Altius, underscoring the synergy between the event’s aesthetic and its purpose.

The Perfect Basel Activation

There are Art Basel activations, and then there are Art Basel moments. The A.I.R. Chateau was undoubtedly the latter — a masterclass in experiential luxury where every element, from the taste of Grey Goose Altius to the kinetic beats of Diplo’s set, was meticulously orchestrated.

As I wandered through the villa, sipping my perfectly chilled Apple Martini, I couldn’t help but marvel at the layers of thought that went into every detail. The branded pillows, the striking ice sculpture, and the visual spectacle of the DJ booth all pointed back to one thing: precision. And perhaps that’s the real ethos of Grey Goose Altius — a spirit that redefines refinement, one smooth sip at a time.

As the crowd’s energy crested in a final burst of music and laughter, it was clear that this wasn’t just a party; it was a statement. The exclusive, one-night-only nature of A.I.R. Chateau made it all the more coveted, and for those lucky enough to attend, it became an indelible part of their Art Basel story.

Grey Goose and MSCHF proved that art, music, and luxury are no longer separate worlds. Here, they merged into one unforgettable night.
