Under the golden glow of the Faena Theater’s chandeliers, IM8’s Vibrante Miami celebration unfolded as more than just a launch event—it was a declaration. Hosted by the premium supplement brand co-founded by global icon David Beckham, the evening brought together a formidable mix of medical experts, wellness influencers, and creators. The aim? To spotlight how science, innovation, and accessibility are reshaping luxury wellness.

At the heart of it all was IM8’s flagship product, Daily Ultimate Essentials—a meticulously formulated, all-in-one powdered supplement engineered to replace 16 individual supplements in a single, flavorful drink. Backed by clinical trials and supported by a world-class scientific advisory board, IM8 is truly raising the bar.

During the event, we spoke with Danny Yeung, Co-Founder and CEO of Prenetics and IM8, about the brand’s vision, its elite formulation, and what it means to lead with science in the saturated world of supplements.

Q&A with Danny Yeung, CEO and Co-Founder of IM8

Q

How does IM8 balance cutting-edge science with luxury ingredients to stand out in the wellness space?

A

Danny Yeung: We started development nearly two years ago, but IM8 officially launched in November 2024. From the start, our goal was to create a best-in-class product that replaces 16 different supplements in one drink. What you're consuming is a powder composed of 92 ingredients—your daily multivitamins, superfoods, adaptogens, prebiotics, probiotics, CoQ10, MSM... everything your body needs to feel its best.

On the scientific side, we’ve conducted rigorous clinical trials. For example, in one of our trials with the San Francisco Research Institute, 90% of participants felt a noticeable difference in energy levels, and 67% felt less bloated and had improved digestion. We also prioritize purity and transparency. That’s why our product is NSF Certified for Sport, which is the highest level of third-party testing. Every single ingredient on our label is verified—if we say it’s 100 milligrams, it’s 100 milligrams. Plus, the certification confirms the product is free from 280 banned substances, which is especially important for athletes.

Q

How did you select the experts for IM8’s Scientific Advisory Board, and how have their insights influenced the product?

A

Danny Yeung: Very significantly. I speak to our advisory board almost daily. We have people like Dr. Dawn M. Mussallem from Mayo Clinic—she’s an integrative oncologist using nutrition to support patient health. We also have Dr. James DiNicolantonio, a cardiovascular research scientist; Dr. Jeremy London, a heart surgeon; and Professor Suzanne Devkota from Cedars-Sinai, who’s one of the world’s top experts on the gut microbiome. We’re bringing in science from all these fields to make something not just powerful, but highly effective.

Also, Dr. Amy Shah, who’s a leader in gut and women’s health, has contributed immensely. Their insights have been integral in making IM8 not just a wellness product, but a holistic health solution.

Q

What key benefits does IM8 offer individuals with high-performance lifestyles?

A

Danny Yeung: Multiple. It really depends on your daily demands, but across the board, people report better energy, immunity, gut health, cardiovascular wellness, cognitive support, and longevity. It’s a true all-in-one that delivers eight key health benefits in just one scoop.

Q

How do you see IM8 transforming the global wellness industry and the future of personalized nutrition?

A

Danny Yeung: We’re setting a very high bar in an industry that’s unfortunately full of bad actors—brands with no testing, no transparency, questionable labeling. So from day one, our goal was to check all the boxes and be truly evidence-based. And consumers are responding. In just four months, we’ve already delivered over one million servings of IM8. That’s a huge signal that people are ready for something better—something backed by science and delivered with trust.

A New Standard in Science-Backed Luxury Wellness

At IM8 Vibrante Miami, attendees explored these innovations firsthand—tasting creative elixirs crafted from the Essentials powder, witnessing behind-the-scenes insights from elite physicians, and even learning about IM8’s partnership with NASA and Oxford University to study advanced aging in space aboard the International Space Station.

As Dr. Jim Green, former Chief Scientist at NASA, shared details of the upcoming orbital experiment launching April 21, it became clear: IM8 is redefining what’s possible when you fuse elite science with a bold commitment to consumer health.

The Takeaway

In an era where the wellness industry often prizes marketing over merit, IM8 is charting a different course—one where rigorous science, clinical validation, and elite quality standards converge. With Danny Yeung and an all-star advisory board leading the charge, the brand isn’t just keeping up with the wellness zeitgeist—it’s helping to shape it.
