As Madrid’s iconic Casa Décor marks its 60th edition, the event has welcomed an unexpected—yet commanding—new player in the European design scene. Global smart bathroom brand JOMOO made its continental debut with BRUMA: The Ritual of Senses, a spellbinding installation that transcends the traditional bathroom concept. With a vision anchored in sensory immersion and avant-garde functionality, JOMOO’s presence has quickly become one of the most talked-about moments of the 2025 exhibition.

A Ritual, Not Just a Room

Designed by the celebrated Summum Studio, BRUMA occupies a striking space within the 19th-century heritage building on Madrid’s Sagasta Street. But this isn’t a showroom. This is a theatrical experience—one that invites visitors to step out of time and into introspection.

The installation opens with a softly feathered passage that leads into a circular sanctuary. At its center: a symbolic “well” from which light, mist, sound, and scent emerge in harmony. Suspended above, a mesh of floating metal rings pulses with ambient music, creating a choreography that evokes the ephemeral rituals of water, light, and presence. The scent of florals, the shimmer of metallic reflections, the hush of softly layered textures—it’s less bathroom, more meditative pavilion.

“We wanted to explore the bathroom as a space of ritual and renewal, not just function,” the design team noted. The result? A striking fusion of tactile calm and technological finesse, grounded in nature and elevated by futurism.

A Dome of Design Meets a Pulse of Innovation

At the pinnacle of the BRUMA installation is an arresting dome adorned with 450 showerheads, cascading downward in harmony with plumes of pampas grass. It’s a visual metaphor for JOMOO’s entire ethos: where nature meets smart technology, and where design dares to provoke emotion.

This emotionally charged approach is more than spectacle—it’s a strategic introduction to the brand’s European identity. Already a major force across Asia, JOMOO enters the European market with a clear message: this is not about hardware. It’s about experience. And Casa Décor, with its legacy of showcasing design’s future, is the perfect proving ground.

The X70: Design Meets Discretion

Beyond the installation, JOMOO’s impact continues in the most unexpected of places: the public restroom. Outfitted with the X70 smart toilet, visitors encounter not just a product, but a philosophy. Engineered for ultra-quiet operation, the X70 incorporates advanced hygiene technology, intuitive sensors, and elegant design lines that reaffirm the brand’s dedication to functional luxury. It’s a discreet, daily embodiment of the aesthetic and technological ideals on full display in BRUMA.

A New Language for Luxury Living

With more than 50,000 attendees and over 50 brands participating in this year’s edition of Casa Décor, the event continues to be Europe’s premier platform for next-generation interiors. Yet amid the sensory overload of this anniversary year, JOMOO has managed to cut through the noise with serenity, not spectacle.

“We wanted to challenge perceptions of what a bathroom can be—a place of artistry, innovation, and emotional resonance."

It’s a proposition that speaks volumes in a culture increasingly seeking connection, sustainability, and meaning in design.

As JOMOO’s European journey begins, BRUMA offers a glimpse of where it’s headed: toward environments that don’t just serve function, but elevate our daily rituals—and ask us to feel more deeply while doing so.
