A Grand Beginning: Raffles Singapore and the Eastern & Oriental Express
The adventure begins in the legendary Raffles Singapore, where guests will be welcomed with an exclusive reception and overnight stay before embarking on the next phase of their journey. From here, the group will board the opulent Eastern & Oriental Express, a luxury train that will transport travelers on a three-day, two-night rail journey through Malaysia, featuring curated excursions into Taman Negara National Park and the cultural hub of Penang.
As part of Belmond’s Wild Malaysia 2025 series, the Tiger Express will include four guided excursions into Taman Negara, one of the world’s oldest rainforests. Here, guests will gain firsthand insight into the ongoing conservation efforts to protect the Malayan Tiger, a species on the brink of extinction.

Following the railway adventure, travelers will arrive at The Datai Langkawi, a sanctuary of eco-luxury set against the pristine rainforests of Langkawi and the azure waters of the Andaman Sea.
