A NIGHT OF BLACK MAGIC BENEFITTING DKMS

THE BLOOD BALL

On Thursday, October 26 2017, The highly anticipated Blood Ball supports the DKMS mission of eradicating blood cancers and blood disorders, inspiring both men and women around the world to register as bone marrow and blood stem cell donors. The Night of Black Magic included endless visual imagery featuring aerialists, contortionists, tarot card readings, and a performance by Phantom of the Opera star Norm Lewis and Mikaela Bennett. The wonderful event took place at Spring Place in Tribeca, NYC.

The highlight of the night was a surprise donor/patient ceremony where there was a passing of a candle/light between five donors and five patients to symbolize the passing of life.

Talent that attended included model Carmen Carrera, Orange is the New Black actresses Amanda Stephen and Catherine Curtin, fashion designer Yigal Azrouël, actress Lily Lane, actress/former Miss Teen USA Kamie Crawford, model Vlada Roslyakova, actor Michael Maize, model Rain Dove and more.

100 percent of the proceeds from The Blood Ball fund the DKMS mission to delete blood cancer once and for all.

Launched by DKMS in 2014, The Blood Ball has become one of New York City's hottest annual parties that attracts over 500 upscale NYC-area professionals for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and special performances—all in the spirit of saving lives.
