BondSt Celebrates 25 Years and Announces Expansion

Iconic Sushi Destination and Lounge Announces Opening of New Location at Hudson Yards: New York, NY — August 14, 2023 — BondSt, a New York institution known for its contemporary interpretations of Japanese-inspired cuisine and long-standing role as a renowned NYC dining and lounge destination, proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary with the announcement of their new location soon to grace The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, situated on Level 5, with grand opening events for planned New York Fashion Week in honor of their original location's opening with Donatella Versace. BondSt Hudson Yards is poised to open on September 19th, 2023. 

To start, BondSt Hudson Yards will be open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, with lunch service soon to follow. 

Since its inception in 1998, BondSt has been the epitome of style, and culinary artistry, captivating beautiful people seeking a place to see and be seen. Its imaginative presentations, a burst of flavors and departure from the austere Japanese tradition have earned it's universal acclaim. 

Spearheaded by partner and Executive Chef Marc Spitzer and Head Sushi Chef Shige Mikami, BondSt's menu boasts an array of signature dishes that continue to delight food enthusiasts. Noteworthy favorites include the tantalizing Big Eye Tuna Tarts, Broiled Chilean Sea Bass, Short rib Foie Gras Gyozas and Sesame Crusted Shrimp Rolls, to name just a few. 

BondSt Hudson Yards will bring back some of the timeless classics from the original BondSt menu, reintroducing their cherished favorites, such as the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and Soba Nomi Risotto with Shrimp and King Crab. An additional section of Grilled Entrees will offer a Japanese A-5 Kuroge Wagyu Rib Eye Steak and Tuna 'Filet Mignon" Au Poivre. 

Brett Singer, who has dedicated a decade to BondSt, will take on the role of opening chef at the Hudson Yards location, accompanied by Executive Sushi Chef Daniel Su. Overseeing the front of the house operations will be Louis Smebi. 

BondSt Hudson Yards will continue their legacy as they celebrate their expansion with a Grand Opening Event in partnership with a premier fashion house in conjunction with New York Fashion Week, paying homage to the original location's iconic opening event with Versace in 1998.

BondSt Hudson Yards features a Main Dining Room, an indoor / outdoor patio, a 14 – seat bar, a lounge, two Private Dining rooms, and an open kitchen omakase bar seating 10. It can accommodate a total of 225 guests, and boasts an impressive 6,000 square ft, with sweeping views of the Vessel and Hudson River. The dining room is tastefully designed by famed interior architect Jeffrey Beers, featuring natural materials sourced from Canada. 

In collaboration with famed restaurateur and Miami pioneer Jeffrey Chodorow, an additional BondSt location is scheduled to open in Bay Harbor in 2025.
