This May, Bulla Gastrobar brings the heart of Spain to Florida with a limited-time Spanish Wine Masterclass & Bulla Bite Series, created in collaboration with Familia Torres — the historic winemaking family behind the Celeste label from Spain’s Ribera del Duero region. Running from May 12 to May 15 across several Bulla locations, this intimate masterclass is more than a wine tasting — it’s an education in Spanish terroir and tradition, offered through a curated lens of food, flavor, and storytelling.

Priced at $65 per person, the experience offers a guided exploration of three Celeste wines, each thoughtfully paired with traditional Spanish tapas. Guests will walk away not only with a newfound appreciation for one of Spain’s most celebrated wine regions but also with a deeper understanding of how Bulla’s culinary philosophy continues to bridge authenticity and approachability.

A Taste of Ribera del Duero, One Course at a Time

The masterclass begins with a refreshing pour of Celeste Verdejo, a crisp white wine matched with Salmon Carpaccio—accented by crispy capers, dill vinaigrette, and mini croutons. It's a pairing that leans on texture and acidity to highlight the wine’s green fruit notes.

For the second course, Celeste Crianza is served alongside Steak Montaditos, a layered bite of grilled steak, piquillo confit, salsa criolla, and pimiento de padrón. The Crianza’s rich red fruit profile and supple tannins find harmony in the smokiness and spice of the tapa.

The final pairing — Celeste Reserva with Braised Short Ribs — leans into depth and comfort. Accentuated by tetilla cheese, caramelized onions, and a textural duo of potato chips and foam, the dish is a nod to Bulla’s warm, convivial style. With its layered complexity, the Reserva balances the richness of the bite, bringing the experience to a decadent close.

Each pairing was selected with intention, marrying the craftsmanship of Familia Torres with the culinary character that defines Bulla’s kitchens.
