Julia & Henry’s Rings In Two Years with Launch of Magic City Collective Marketplace
May 28th, 2025 – Julia & Henry’s, the three-story landmark known for elevating Miami’s food scene, is expanding its creative footprint just in time for its second anniversary. On Friday, June 13, the beloved Downtown Miami destination will unveil its newest evolution: the Magic City Collective. A fresh collaboration with Magic City Flea, this new marketplace reimagines the venue’s third floor as a dynamic retail experience that blends vintage, handmade, and artisanal finds with the space’s already robust culinary culture.
At the heart of this expansion is a desire to create a more integrated cultural experience—one where art, fashion, and gastronomy don’t just coexist, but enhance one another. Magic City Flea, known throughout Miami for its curated pop-up shopping events, will now bring its signature touch to Julia & Henry’s on a rotating basis. Visitors can expect an ever-changing lineup of vendors offering everything from vintage clothing and handcrafted jewelry to art prints, books, and home décor.
A Curated Culinary Playground
While the top floor transforms into a boutique-style bazaar, the first and second floors will continue to spotlight Julia & Henry’s signature culinary concept. A total of 17 vendors—including favorites like Fookem’s Fabulous—will serve a wide array of sweet and savory bites. Notably, the popular Japanese eatery Shimuja and Peruvian street food concept Sankuay are moving downstairs, ensuring they remain at the center of the action.
Guests can also still indulge in Julia & Henry’s beloved beverage program, anchored by three bars and a variety of specialty cocktails. Regular programming remains unchanged: Tuesday Bingo Night, Wednesday Comedy Night, and Thursday Ladies Night will keep the community vibes alive and buzzing.
Now Serving: Style & Taste
To celebrate both the milestone anniversary and the unveiling of the new retail experience, Julia & Henry’s will host Now Serving: Style & Taste on Friday, June 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. The open-to-the-public event will offer guests a lively introduction to the refreshed third floor, complete with a live DJ, raffles, photo stations, and $5 cocktails. It’s the type of casually cool yet tastefully curated soirée that perfectly captures what Julia & Henry’s is all about.
A New Chapter for a Miami Icon
Housed in a restored historic building on East Flagler Street, Julia & Henry’s has fast become a cultural cornerstone in Miami. Operated by King Goose Hospitality—the team behind several globally acclaimed culinary ventures—the concept seamlessly pairs old-school charm with cutting-edge food and lifestyle offerings.
The addition of the Magic City Collective marks a pivotal moment, further blurring the lines between shopping, socializing, and savoring. For Magic City Flea, the collaboration means a permanent platform to highlight its community of local makers and vintage curators. For visitors, it means a richer, more immersive experience with every visit.
