Sustainability takes center stage this Saturday, April 26, as the Doral Contemporary Art Museum (DORCAM) partners with Catwalk Pros to present the 3rd Annual Earth, Wind, Fire & Water Fashion Show—a night where cutting-edge design meets environmental advocacy. Held at CityPlace Doral from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., the event is not just a celebration of sustainable fashion, but a dynamic cultural gathering that weaves together art, music, and conservation.
This year's lineup brings together an international mix of emerging talent and industry-recognized designers, including Project Runway alum Dope Tavio, TikTok sensation Tanya Marie, and Cuban designer Celia Ledón, known for her extravagant sustainable costume creations. Their work—alongside featured collections from FFGAINS, VLACKBOOK, and The Fashion Reboot—redefines how we perceive fashion’s role in shaping a conscious future.
A Celebration of Eco-Conscious Design
The evening will unfold across a series of experiences curated to spark both conversation and creativity. A standout component is the Sustainable Fashion Installation, offering attendees an intimate look at the craftsmanship and storytelling behind eco-forward collections. From upcycled couture to biodegradable fabrics, every piece on display underscores the intersection of ethics and aesthetics.
On the runway, the Sustainable Fashion Show promises moments of theatricality and transformation. Models will showcase looks crafted entirely from reclaimed, organic, or plant-based materials—each ensemble a statement on possibility and reinvention.
Beyond the Runway: Dialogue, Discovery, and Community Impact
The fashion show is only part of the experience. Guests will also be treated to panel discussions with environmental leaders and designers, offering perspectives on ocean conservation, textile waste, and the role of fashion in social change. The dialogue extends into youth programming as well, with a student design competition and recycled art installations crafted by local high school artists.
One of the most talked-about features? The appearance of an 11-year-old doll clothing designer whose mini-collections have already begun capturing attention in sustainability circles—proof that fashion's next chapter may be in smaller, but no less powerful, hands.
Add to that an array of organic and vegan cuisine, live musical performances, and a VIP after-party designed for networking among creatives, and the event becomes more than a show—it becomes a statement of shared values.
Supporting the Mission
A portion of the proceeds from the evening will support three community-driven organizations: Catwalk Pros Academy, which mentors aspiring models and designers; Big Blue & You, a nonprofit promoting ocean conservation through art; and DORCAM, which continues to serve as a bridge between contemporary art and socially conscious programming in South Florida.
The Earth, Wind, Fire & Water Fashion Show offers more than a front-row seat to the next wave of sustainable fashion—it offers a platform for purpose. For those who see creativity as a force for change, this is an invitation to witness what that future looks like in motion.
