Saul Nash’s SS26 Collection "EMBRACE" debuts at Milan Fashion Week
The Language of Touch
Saul Nash’s Spring/Summer 2026 presentation, EMBRACE, is less about spectacle and more about sensation—about the quiet pulse that exists in proximity, gesture, and shared movement. Debuted in Milan, this collection is a lyrical exploration of intimacy and human interaction, translated through the designer’s signature movement-based design philosophy.
“This season looks at movement but through the interaction of two people. It’s a study of sensuality through movement.”
Saul Nash, Fashion Designer
That ethos hums through every piece—from fluid fabrics that respond to the body in motion, to tailored silhouettes that channel tension and release.
A Dialogue Between Fabric and Form
Fusing elements of tailoring, military wear, and performance apparel, Nash constructs clothing that’s both technically astute and emotionally resonant. Military-inspired flight jackets—engineered with Nash’s kinetic cutting—are softened by adjustable trousers that allow the wearer to reshape their silhouette, suggesting a willingness to shift and adapt.
A counterpoint to these structured elements is found in cupro shirts cut from Bemberg™, their boxy shapes and asymmetric necklines gliding easily across the body. Draped mesh hoodies made from recycled polyester disrupt the traditional codes of masculinity, offering a silhouette that reads equally as soft and strong. This constant play between hard and soft extends into a color palette of quiet greys, diluted purples, and gentle yellows—tones that signal emotional nuance rather than seasonal trend.
Clothing as Connection
EMBRACE is not just a theme, it’s a tactile philosophy. A compression top, printed with hand-shaped imagery across the chest, mimics the sensation of being held. Elsewhere, laser-engraved denim—composed of a two-way zip work jacket and barrel-leg jeans—bears ghostly motifs of intertwined bodies, visually echoing the waltzing pairs featured in the collection’s show.
As the brand matures, Nash’s tailoring evolves in parallel. A water-resistant Oxford shirt with an attached hood gestures to formalwear without sacrificing function, while a pinstriped tropical wool suit with detachable sleeves and a built-in hood reinvents the classic with unexpected modularity.
The Choice to Reveal
True to its name, EMBRACE doesn’t shy away from vulnerability. Transparent boxer shorts in workwear plaid, paired with a matching cape and styled with jockstraps, invite a more uninhibited reading of daily dress. A bamboo stretch jersey Henley shirt clings closely to the skin, its asymmetric placket designed to expose the chest—or conceal it.
Even the trousers extend this idea of personal agency. Recycled nylon ripstop designs unzip entirely down the leg, revealing a mesh lining beneath—function becomes flirtation. Accessories follow suit, with recycled nylon sling bags that crinkle with wear and gilets treated with the same bloom effect. The collection is grounded with footwear by Birkenstock and eyewear by Cubitts, ensuring that even the final styling details echo the collection’s embrace of comfort, freedom, and ease.
A Waltz of Emotion
With EMBRACE, Saul Nash continues to chart an innovative path in menswear, one that allows structure and sensitivity to coexist. He proposes clothing not as armor, but as an extension of human feeling—a soft skin for hard moments, a framework for fluidity, a gesture waiting to be returned.
