Celebrating 10 Years of Luxury Watchmaking in India
Since its founding in 2015, Art of Time has evolved into India’s most influential curator of haute horology—building bridges between the world’s most storied Swiss watchmakers and a growing Indian collector base. As the brand marks its tenth anniversary, it does so not with fanfare, but with finesse: a deeply personal collaboration with Roger Dubuis, known for its avant-garde complications and architectural movements.
This milestone partnership brings two exclusive timepieces to the Indian market—each designed to resonate with cultural depth and mechanical sophistication. Through this dual release, Art of Time and Roger Dubuis have created more than limited editions—they've offered collectors wearable expressions of heritage, artistry, and identity.
Excalibur Monobalancier Lord Ganesha Edition
An icon reimagined with spiritual symbolism and technical mastery
The centerpiece of the collaboration is the Excalibur Monobalancier Lord Ganesha Edition—a 42 mm creation in 18K pink gold that breaks with Excalibur tradition to showcase an image rarely seen in Swiss watchmaking. Here, Lord Ganesha, the Hindu deity of wisdom, prosperity, and beginnings, is rendered with reverence in metalized pink gold on a custom sapphire dial, accented with black and white varnish. In a departure from the collection’s signature design, the astral star motif has been intentionally removed to allow the artwork to take full focus.
Inside, the Calibre RD720SQ movement powers the piece—a self-winding skeletonized marvel equipped with a micro-rotor set between 10 and 11 o’clock to minimize vibration, improve shock resistance, and deliver a 72-hour power reserve. The movement is certified with the Poinçon de Genève, one of the highest standards in Swiss watchmaking.
“This piece is deeply personal. It represents where we come from and how we embrace modernity while staying rooted in heritage."
Gaurav Bhatia, Co-founder and Director, Art of Time.
The result is a limited edition that feels profoundly contemporary yet unmistakably spiritual—a combination that mirrors the ethos of Art of Time itself.
Velvet Automatic: An Homage to Grace and Strength
Roger Dubuis’ tribute to women collectors—steeped in symbolism and limited to ten pieces
The second release, created specifically for women, is the Velvet Automatic, a 36 mm timepiece also crafted in 18K pink gold. The dial, fashioned from iridescent mother-of-pearl tinted green, is a nod to prosperity and new beginnings in Indian culture. A subtle but symbolic detail: the Roman numeral X—marking Art of Time’s tenth year—is rendered in green to mirror the strap and dial accents.
Framed by brilliant-cut diamonds set across the case, bezel, flange, and lugs, and paired with a green alligator strap, the Velvet is both a statement of refinement and a celebration of female strength.
“The Velvet is not just beautiful—it’s confident. A celebration of individuality and strength."

India’s Horological Vanguard
Art of Time’s trajectory over the past decade has reshaped India’s position within the global watch industry. It introduced the country’s first IWC and Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques, launched the immersive TimeVallée retail concept, and cultivated a community of connoisseurs through immersive experiences and education. Today, with over 15 points of sale, it stands as the leading destination for fine watchmaking in India.
Looking forward, the brand is poised for thoughtful expansion. Its upcoming retail concept, CIRCA, is designed to deepen the connection between enthusiasts and horology through modern design and curatorial expertise. Meanwhile, new locations in Chennai and Hyderabad will continue to broaden access to the world's most prestigious watchmakers—always delivered with Art of Time’s signature client-first approach.
A Decade Defined by Precision and Purpose
At its core, Art of Time’s tenth anniversary is less about accumulation and more about alignment—aligning craftsmanship with culture, design with meaning, and legacy with innovation. The collaboration with Roger Dubuis exemplifies this philosophy, offering collectors pieces that speak not only to technical excellence, but also to personal identity.
