Velvet Taco’s globally inspired menu takes a Mediterranean turn with a collaboration featuring Michelin-starred “Gypsy Chef” David Myers of ADRIFT Mare. On February 26, the Wynwood and Fort Lauderdale locations will unveil the Mediterranean Mezze Taco, a limited-edition creation blending garlic shrimp, Fresno chili, hummus, tabouli, feta cheese, pickled red onion, and oregano in a charred flour tortilla.
For a more elevated experience, ADRIFT Mare will serve an exclusive three-mini-taco version during happy hour (Tuesday-Friday, 5-8 p.m.), where guests can sip on $10 craft cocktails while soaking in Biscayne Bay views. February is Pisco Month, and two of Miami’s top Peruvian restaurants—Jarana and La Mar by Gastón Acurio—are pulling out all the stops to celebrate the nation’s beloved spirit.
