For two nights only, Torno Subito Miami and Oro by Hotel Cipriani will transform Miami’s dining scene into an Italian gastronomic haven with "A Taste of Italy"—a highly anticipated, Michelin-starred collaboration dinner series taking place on March 20 and 21, 2025.

This exclusive event will unite Chef Bernardo Paladini of Torno Subito Miami and Chef Vania Ghedini of Oro at Belmond Hotel Cipriani, Venice, for a meticulously curated six-course tasting menu ($195 per person), offering a rare chance to experience authentic Italian flavors through the lens of two culinary visionaries.

Few collaborations capture the essence of Italy quite like this one. Chef Massimo Bottura’s first U.S. restaurant, Torno Subito Miami, has already set a high bar for contemporary Italian dining, and now, it joins forces with Oro, the Michelin-starred jewel of Venice’s famed Hotel Cipriani.

A Six-Course Tasting Menu That Bridges Miami and Venice

The collaboration will feature a menu that blends time-honored traditions with modern techniques, offering a culinary journey through Italy’s rich regions and flavors:

  • A Welcome from the Kitchen – A tribute to Miami and Venice, featuring stone crabs in saor (a Venetian seafood-preservation method that enhances the delicate taste of Miami’s iconic stone crab).

  • Smoked Eel Tortellino with Horseradish and Candied Lemon – A dish from Oro by Hotel Cipriani, featuring tortellino filled with smoked eel, horseradish sauce, candied lemon, and ras el hanout, inspired by Bottura’s love of Asian flavors and Chef Ghedini’s hometown of Ferrara.

  • Risi E Bisi in Langua – Torno Subito’s reinvention of the Venetian rice and pea dish, combining creamy risotto with savory cuttlefish, showcasing Venice’s land and sea culinary harmony.

  • Crispy Tiramisú – A decadent take on the Italian classic by Chef Ghedini, layering mascarpone, chocolate, and coffee cream over a crispy biscuit.

Meet the Masters Behind the Menu

Both chefs bring world-class experience to the table:

  • Chef Vania Ghedini has worked in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens, including the three-Michelin-starred Le Calandre in Padua and Sesamo Restaurant in Marrakech. She joined Oro at Belmond Hotel Cipriani in April 2024, redefining Venetian fine dining with her innovative yet deeply rooted Italian approach.
