MOTEK Expands North with Boca Raton Debut: A Mediterranean Culinary Experience Rooted in Family and Flavor
A New Chapter for a Miami Favorite
MOTEK, the Miami-based restaurant revered for its soulful take on Mediterranean and Israeli-inspired cuisine, is officially bringing its beloved concept to Boca Raton. Opening April 2, 2025, the new outpost marks MOTEK’s first Palm Beach County location and seventh overall across South Florida—joining a growing portfolio that includes Downtown Miami, Coral Gables, Aventura, Brickell, South Beach, and Miami Beach.
The Boca Raton expansion isn’t just about growing geographically—it’s about sharing something deeply personal. “Opening MOTEK in Boca Raton is a deeply personal milestone for us,” says founder Charlie Levy. “This expansion allows us to share the vibrant flavors of Tel Aviv street food with the local Jewish community and introduce them to a culinary journey that reflects our heritage. MOTEK was inspired by my childhood in Israel, where I dreamt of creating a place that showcased all my favorite flavors.”
From the signature chicken shawarma to the Moroccan fish, each dish is rooted in memory. “Every dish tells a story,” adds Levy. “We’ve even sourced spices from my grandmother’s supplier in Israel.”
An Elevated Space in the Heart of Boca
Located at 5377 Town Center Road in Boca’s Restaurant Row, the new MOTEK spans 220 seats and delivers the brand’s signature open-air feel through a mix of indoor and outdoor dining. A showstopping 360-degree bar anchors the space, seamlessly integrated with floor-to-ceiling windows and a lush patio adorned with ivy, yellow blooms, and two towering oak trees.
Guests are welcomed by a dedicated wine room featuring a curated collection of Italian, French, Spanish, and Israeli Kosher wines. This sense of abundance extends to the Tel Aviv Room, a lively space for Happy Hour specials (daily from 2–6 PM), and to the intimate Shabbat Room—designed for private gatherings and adorned with a mural inspired by the historic Old Jaffa neighborhood.
The aesthetic is clean yet colorful, contemporary yet grounded in Mediterranean tradition—just like the food.
Signature Dishes & New Boca Exclusives
At the heart of MOTEK Boca Raton is an open kitchen, offering guests a front-row seat to the preparation of its fresh, flavor-packed dishes. The menu features beloved classics like the award-winning Arayes Burger, Beef Kufta Kebab, Moroccan Fish, and the “New York” Oven Pita filled with house-smoked pastrami, caramelized onions, mustard, and garlic confit.
Dips like Baba Ganoush, Mushroom Hummus, and Tzatziki elevate every table spread, while newcomers to the Boca Raton location can also look forward to exclusive new dishes created just for this outpost.
As always, MOTEK delivers kosher-style dining with a modern twist—maintaining the integrity of Mediterranean cooking while meeting the expectations of South Florida’s luxury-loving clientele.
Rooted in Story, Built for the Community
More than just a restaurant, MOTEK is a tribute to heritage, hospitality, and homegrown excellence. Since opening its first location in Downtown Miami in 2020, the brand has gained a loyal following for its elevated yet approachable take on Mediterranean dining. The Boca Raton expansion comes alongside MOTEK’s sister concepts: YALLA, a Mediterranean street food stall at Aventura Mall, and Sesame Bakery in North Miami, which fuses boulangerie technique with Israeli flair.
With its Boca debut, MOTEK continues to elevate the South Florida dining scene—blending bold flavor, family history, and a sense of community that resonates far beyond the plate.
