SKS Makes Culinary-Forward Debut at the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen

The 2025 FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen was no stranger to high-caliber cuisine, but this year, all eyes were on SKS. Formerly known as Signature Kitchen Suite, the luxury appliance brand made its official debut as the exclusive appliance partner of the event, redefining what home cooking can be when precision, design, and innovation converge.

Over the course of the three-day culinary summit, SKS delivered an immersive series of live cooking demos, tastings, and panel conversations. Tapping into its True to Food™ ethos, the brand emphasized integrity in every detail—from the sourcing of ingredients to the precision-driven technology that enhances how those ingredients are treated at home.

A Culinary Showcase Built Around Innovation

Among the event’s highlights was a live seminar titled Mark Bittman’s in Hot Water – Turning Up the Heat on Sous Vide, Steam and Searing. Presented by renowned food personality Mark Bittman and SKS Executive Chef Nick Ritchie, the session spotlighted sous vide cooking as a technique no longer confined to restaurant kitchens. Together, the duo prepared caraway rye bread, sous vide egg jam, and ricotta dumplings with hen sauce—each made possible with SKS’s professional-grade appliances.

“Sous vide has long been a staple in professional kitchens. Bringing that level of precision into the home is a natural next step for high-end appliances.”

With brand partners like James Beard Award winner Stephanie Izard and bestselling author Mark Bittman, the message resonated: great design and thoughtful technology don’t just make cooking easier—they raise the bar for what home cooking can be.
