A New Slice of Simplicity: 3190 Brings Intimate Lasagna-Only Dining to Coconut Grove
The Only Thing on the Menu Is the One You’ll Never Forget
In a city known for its culinary maximalism, 3190 arrives with the quiet confidence of restraint. Officially opening its doors July 11th, this 24-seat lasagna-only concept in Coconut Grove is the third act from the rapidly rising team at 84 Magic Hospitality, who have already made waves in Miami with Cotoletta and San Lorenzo. Their latest collaboration with Kush Hospitality redefines intimacy, stripping away the chaos of QR codes, delivery apps, and trend-chasing menus in favor of something far more enduring: a single, transcendent dish and a well-poured glass of wine.
A Dish with Heart—and a Name That Stuck
The story of 3190 is anchored by a memory. Chef Giulio Rossi, whose culinary lineage is embedded in 84 Magic’s DNA, created the lasagna that would come to define the new restaurant while cooking for his daughter during her ballet training years.
“My daughter is a ballerina and she is the prima ballerina at the royal opera in Madrid. The ‘Si Papa’ was always the dish she would eat when she was young and in training. It was the only dish she would always say ‘Si Papa’ to.”
Chef Giulio
That affirmation became the heartbeat of the concept—a rich, bolognese-style lasagna that tells a story, plated simply and paired with Villa Di Corlo Lambrusco from a small farm in Modena. A vegetarian variation with pesto, peas, and green beans will also be available.
No Menus. No Delivery. Just Lasagna.
At 3190, the philosophy is straightforward: no frills, just flavor. There’s no printed menu. No delivery apps. No chance to scroll through options. Instead, diners are presented with a single focus: the 'Si Papa' lasagna, priced at $15, served in a minimalist, dimly lit space that feels like a secret shared only by those in the know.
Walk-ins only. No reservations. And for those hoping to take it home, call-ahead pickup is available—but third-party delivery is not. This ethos of direct, intentional hospitality is core to 84 Magic’s identity.
Designed Like a Whisper
Tucked away within Lokal and adjacent to Cotoletta on Commodore Plaza, the space—once again imagined by longtime collaborator Eduardo Suarez—carries a tone of quiet elegance. Think dark interiors, clean lines, and a design that makes conversation feel confidential and plates feel personal.
The team also imagines 3190 as a subtle extension of Cotoletta’s appeal. On fully booked nights, guests unable to secure a table next door may be offered seats at 3190—an elevated overflow that turns inconvenience into invitation.
“Instead of turning guests away, we can now offer them something equally special next door. 84 Magic Hospitality is becoming known in the city for our unique concepts and traditional hospitality. This is another way we can ensure our guests are always being taken care of.”
Andrea Fraquelli, Co-Founder
A Third Concept in Under a Year
That hospitality momentum is hard to ignore. In less than twelve months, 84 Magic has carved out its place in Miami’s dining scene with two celebrated restaurants and now a third that, despite its scale, may be the most daring of all.
By embracing a single dish with storytelling power and refining the dining experience into a distilled, personal encounter, 3190 manages to feel entirely fresh—proof that less can be a luxury all its own.
