A Flavor-Forward Finale in Wynwood
Smorgasburg Miami is putting the brakes on its weekly schedule—but not before one last lap around the block. On July 26 and 27, the city’s beloved open-air food market is throwing “Fast x Flavorful,” a turbo-charged sendoff celebrating the crossover between Asian and Latino street food culture and Miami’s custom car scene. Held from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. each day, the two-day festival promises an energetic blend of culinary creativity, tricked-out rides, and all-day DJ sets—all in the heart of Wynwood.
With Miami’s summer heat kicking into high gear, the event marks Smorgasburg’s final hurrah before its seasonal pause, returning October 4. Think of it as a pit stop with serious flavor—and plenty of fuel for foodies and car buffs alike.
Where the Street Eats Meet the Street Machines
This isn’t your average food fair. Teaming up with Imperial Moto and El Bori, Smorgasburg Miami is turning its outdoor space into a rolling showcase of custom cars and motorcycles that celebrate craftsmanship, culture, and Miami’s deep-rooted love for the street scene. Expect chrome, color, and conversation-starters at every turn.
Inside the festival, Imperial Moto will also host a coffee bar takeover, slinging specialty coffee cocktails to keep guests caffeinated and cool well into the night.
As the sun dips, the rhythm rises. A rotating DJ lineup hits the decks nightly from 7–11 p.m., providing a high-energy soundtrack to your sushi, skewers, and mofongo.
A Global Tour of Street Food—with a Miami Accent
“Fast x Flavorful” goes well beyond typical festival fare, featuring a curated lineup of guest vendors who bring street food traditions and fusion flavors together in unexpected, delicious ways. Here’s a taste of what to expect:
Primoo Boba (Vietnamese) – Iced milk and fruit teas balanced with chewy, house-made boba—perfect for sipping under the sun.
Chef Norlan (Japanese) – Sushi rolls and bento wraps made fresh to order, offering a clean counterpoint to the festival’s heartier eats.
Gangnam Chikn (Korean) – Crispy, golden fried chicken, sandwiches, and tenders that marry heat, crunch, and K-flavor.
Ahmays Cuisine (Burmese) – Fragrant noodle bowls and buttery paratha sandwiches filled with slow-cooked curries and bold spices.
El Bori (Puerto Rican) – Island comfort food with a streetwise twist: think mofongo, arroz frito, and plenty of plantain.
Tropirollz (Caribbean/Asian) – Fusion sushi rolls spotlighting bold ingredients from the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and Jamaica.
Yen's Kitchen (Vietnamese) – Street-style hotpot skewers, bánh mì tacos, and wings that pack serious punch.
Julie’s Crochet – A break from the bites, this retail pop-up offers handcrafted crochet gifts and accessories—because street style isn’t only edible.
Each dish tells a story—of migration, creativity, and cultural mashup—all within reach of a picnic table and a DJ booth.
Smorgasburg Takes a Summer Break
After July 27, Smorgasburg Miami will hit pause for the height of the season, giving vendors and guests alike a well-deserved break from the heat. But mark your calendar: the market will return on Friday, October 4, bringing back its regular weekly lineup and possibly a few new surprises.
Until then, “Fast x Flavorful” is your final call to eat, chill, and celebrate the unique energy that Smorgasburg Miami brings to Wynwood each week. Come for the cars, stay for the paratha.
